Abstract
The invention relates to the measurement technique and can be used for determining the amount of liquefied gas in the container. A device for determining amount of liquefied gas in a container has a sensor connected to a system of generation of electromagnetic signal and reception and processing of a signal received from a signal generator and located vertically in the container, which length corresponds to the height of the container; the sensor is made in the form of a waveguide, which has an inhomogeneity in the area occupied by gas phase. The disclosed device under the condition of applying modern computer technology provides for rapid and accurate determination of the quality indices (dielectric constant, density) and amount (mass) of the liquefied gas in the container.
