A method for the reconstruction of the injured long fingers of the hand provides for tailoring two cutaneous-fascial flaps from the anterior abdominal wall. The flaps are mobilized and folded into tubes embracing the defect. The heterodigital flap with antegrade blood flow from palmary-lateral surface of the adjacent finger. The separated flap is transposed onto the bone base of the palmary and upper third back surfaces of the rest of the middle and proximal phalange generating the apical part of the injured finger. Autodermoplasty of the remaining defect of the back surface is provided and the aseptic bandage is applied.
