Description of the invention
The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to the finishing of long metal products 2 and can be used in the final finishing of wire, cord, pipes and other shaped rolled products.
Surface strengthening of metal products as a final technological operation significantly increases the performance of parts and machines, increases their quality and service life. To date, methods of surface treatment with the help of plastic deformation, such as ball and roller processing, shot peening, vibro-rolling, and others, have become widespread. Interest in 70 high-energy types of surface treatment has increased significantly in the industry, including surface strengthening with the help of ultrasonic vibrations. Test results and operational practice show that when processing metal products, especially high-strength ones, the ultrasonic method is quite effective and easily amenable to automation. The industry produces a wide range of long products of various profiles and cross-sections: wire, cord, pipes, strips, etc., which are formed using pressure. As a result, the final 72 ultrasonic treatment is necessary as a relaxation and strengthening technological operation, which is carried out at high speeds of movement of products. Productivity and quality of the process of such ultrasonic processing depend on the choice of the scheme of such processing and the optimal mode of operation of the ultrasonic tool.
с. СРСР Мо1278182, МПК В2481/04, 1986), при якій робочу поверхню інструменту притискують до оброблюваної поверхні і надають їм переміщення відносно один одного, який відрізняється тим, що інструменту надають згинальні коливання і розміщують його під кутом В в напрямі обробки поверхні, а кут задають в діапазоні О«В«А, де А - амплітуда згинальних коливань торця інструменту (в кутових одиницях).There is a known method of ultrasonic non-abrasive processing (AS USSR Mo1278182, IPC B2481/04, 1986), in which the working surface of the tool is pressed against the machined surface and they are moved relative to each other, which differs in that the tool is given bending vibrations and placed at an angle B in the direction of surface treatment, and the angle is set in the range О«В«А, where A is the amplitude of bending vibrations of the tool end (in angular units).
The known method has low productivity due to the use of only one tool that processes a narrow strip limited by the contact point. The use of bending vibrations, which are easily damped, leads to a sharp change in the amplitude of the vibrations during the processing. Excitation of longitudinal ultrasonic vibrations (along (3 directions of movement) leads to intensive wear of the surface layer. All this reduces the quality of the sealing layer.
A known method of non-abrasive ultrasonic surface finishing (Russian patent Mo2127658, IPC
In processing process.
(о)The acoustic system is fixed with the possibility of rotation relative to the axis of fixation at an angle of displacement of -452 of the y-oi axis of the acoustic system relative to the axis of rotation of the part. (at)
However, the known method has low processing productivity due to the long mechanical scanning of the processing surface. This also leads to uneven processing on the surface. Two-dimensional oscillations of the acoustic instrument create conditions for intensive abrasion of the surface layer of the processed surface of the part, which, together with abrasion products, deteriorates the quality of processing.
The closest to the proposed method in terms of the set of features and technical result is the method of "ultrasonic non-abrasive surface treatment" (A.s. of the USSR Mo1821342, IPC B24839/00, 1/04, 1993), in which the working tool is pressed against the surface of the processed part and they are moved relative to each other, the working tool is given a rotational movement, while the force of pressing the tool against the processed surface is selected so that the depth of the working tool into the surface exceeds the thickness of the oxide film, and the ultrasonic vibrations of the tool have an amplitude of 5-1O0μm.
However, this method has a significant drawback; low processing productivity due to forced mechanical - 15 turns of the working tool to cover the entire processing surface. The deepening of the working tool into the surface, the creation of vibrations transverse to the deepening and the large amplitude of these vibrations leads to (Ce) intensive abrasion of the surface layer and its transition into wear products. In addition, due to the practical impossibility of matching the attached mass (parts, supports) due to the presence of wear products with the resonant frequency of the rotating working tool, a significant change in the amplitude of oscillations of the working tool takes place in the process of processing. All this worsens the roughness of the surface, which even leads to scratches, unevenness of microhardness and depth of processing, and in the final state to a decrease in the quality and efficiency of processing.
The invention is based on the task of developing a method for ultrasonic vibration-impact treatment of the surface of long products, in which the ultrasonic transducer connected to the working tools is pressed normally to the surface of the product and gives them movement relative to each other. lines of unidirectional movement of the product, them
GF) mutual position depends on the profile of the product, the force of impact and the force of pressure are selected according to the criterion of degree 7 of plastic deformation of the material of the product, and the speed of movement according to the criterion of uniformity of processing of each part of the surface of the product to increase the productivity of processing with its given quality and stability.
To solve the problem in the method of ultrasonic vibro-impact treatment of the surface of long-dimensional products, in which the ultrasonic transducer, connected to the working tools, is pressed normally to the surface of the product and gives them movement relative to each other, according to the invention, the treatment is carried out by ultrasonic transducers placed along the line of the given movement of the product and along its profile in the amount necessary to inflict on a unit surface of the product the number of blows specified by the technology, to the output ends of which the input ends of the working tools are preliminarily pressed elastically, the force of impact and pressure because the working tools are selected according to the given depth of plastic deformation of the material of the product, and the speed of movement M is selected from the condition m«T.1.p, where и is the frequency of oscillations of working tools; 1 - the size of the output end of the working tool along
Movement lines; n - the number of working tools along one processing line.
Processing with working tools, placed depending on the profile of the long-dimensional product along the line of movement and at an angle relative to each other, allows simultaneous processing to cover the entire profile of the long-dimensional product, which is stretched at high speed past the static tools. In the prototype, the working tools (balls) are forced to mechanically move (rotate) to process the entire surface of the wire, and when the 7/0 long-dimensional part is not a body of rotation, then its processing is impossible. If the profile of the product, for example, is round and has a sufficient cross-section, then the tools in the claimed method are placed at an angle relative to each other to cover the entire surface, and if the profile, for example, is flat (strip), then the working tools are placed perpendicularly in a row. Performing preliminary elastic pressing of the working tools to the output end of the ultrasonic transducer creates a reliable acoustic contact between them and thus ensures the processing of a long-dimensional product with macro- and micro-uniformities of the surface by all tools, and not only those that are in contact with the product, as in prototypes This increases the productivity and quality of processing the entire surface of a long product without gaps. As practice has shown, the quality of ultrasonic processing increases with long-term low-amplitude processing, so that the productivity of the process does not fall, the number of ultrasonic transducers (and working tools) along one processing line (broach) is increased. That is, the surface is treated with successively low-amplitude blows with an increase in the number of blows per unit area as the long-dimensional part is stretched. Normalization of the speed of movement of the product allows to carry out processing evenly without gaps along the length of the product.

2.Fig. 3, an ultrasonic transducer consisting of a packet piezo transducer 6 with an oscillating speed transformer (VVT) 7 through a working tool 8, which has a groove 9 along the profile of the product (for example, a cylindrical shape), pressed with a force P pr to the wire 10, which, on the other hand, has a support 11 with a groove similar to the working tool 8. In Fig. 4, working tools 14 are elastically pressed against the output end 12 of the TKSH ultrasonic transducer by means of a cup 13. The cup 13 has cylindrical holes in its bottom Pd s, into which cylindrical working tools 14 are inserted, which have grooves 15, in which springs 16 are also placed. the diameter of the springs 16 is larger than the diameter of the holes in the cup 13, so the latter, when "" fixing its edges to the TKSH node (not shown in the figure), compresses the springs 16 in the grooves 15 with the bottom and presses the input ends 17 of the working tools to the output end 12 of the TKSH. This ensures reliable acoustic contact between the output end 12 of the ultrasonic transducer (through the TKSH) and the working tools, which have the possibility of reciprocating movement in the holes of the cup 13. The output ends of the working tools 14 with a diameter of 1 have grooves 18 in the shape of the product (wire) 10, which is clamped by the force P pr (for example, a spring) between them and the support 19, which also has a similar groove 20. The wire 10 could have macro-uniformities, for example, a bend 21. If the long-dimensional product has a strip profile 22 (flat surfaces that 5or are processed) , then, for example, four groups 23 of ultrasonic transducers (Fig. 5) through their working and tools are pressed perpendicularly to the surface 24, and the support 25 has a guide groove with a flat o surface. Each group 23 contains several working tools 2 placed along the processing line (broach). Each of these processing lines (surfaces) in total make up the surface 24. Fig. b6 shows a fragment of the surface of the product moving at a speed M past two groups of working tools 14, which are combined into ultrasonic transducers 26 and 27. Each tool has a linear size 1 in the direction of movement and is placed from each other within the limits of one ultrasonic transducer 2 b at a distance of p. Adjacent iF) ultrasonic transducers 26 and 27 are placed at a distance (with an interval) of Her. On the surface of the product, the impressions 28 of the three tools of the ultrasonic transducer 2 6 and the following three impressions 2 9 of the tools of the ultrasonic transducer 27 are shown. M past stationary ultrasonic transducers 2.
14.In the latter, longitudinal oscillations are excited by the package piezo transducer b, which are amplified by the TKSH 7 at the output end and are transmitted with the help of impact interaction by the vibro-impact working tool 8 or 14.
The energy of the blows of these tools is spent on the deformation of the surface of the wire 1 in the place of the groove 9 and their b5 elastic rebound back. At the same time, the amplitude of oscillations of ultrasonic transducers with working tools is set low (up to 10-20 μm). At the same time, on the M side of the support 11, a similar vibration shock deformation of the wire also occurs in the region of the groove, which guides and holds it. If the ultrasonic transducer (Fig. 4) is connected to a set of working tools 14, then its output end 12 transmits its longitudinal oscillations to the latter, as a result of which they also begin to perform oscillations, moving back and forth in the holes of the bottom of the cup 13. At the same time, the holes of the cup perform the function of guides for working tools 14, and springs 16 simultaneously ensure the return of each tool to its original position after the completion of its working stroke and the creation of high-quality acoustic contact of the input end of the working tool with the radiating (output) end (end) 12 to ensure the next working stroke of the tool. 70 After giving the working tools 14 oscillations, their output ends with a groove 18, protruding from the cup 13, are brought into contact with the surface of the wire 10 placed in the groove 20 of the support 19 by force P pr. The wire itself is moved with the necessary tension from the supply bobbin to the receiving (not shown) at a speed M and its entire surface is machined. The impact energy of each tool, received by it from the output end of the ultrasonic transducer, is spent on plastic deformation of the surface being processed. If the wire /5 has, for example, a spherical bend 21, then only the middle working tool (Fig. 4) has direct contact with the surface of the product. If there was no pre-elastic pressure of the tools to the output end of the ultrasonic transducer, then the processing would be carried out only by the tool in contact with the surface of the product, but the acoustic contact between the ultrasonic transducer and all the tools, created by the elastic pre-pressure, creates a force impulse for all the tools. Extreme working tools (Fig. 4), which do not have direct contact with the surface of the wire 10, will also move by inertia in the direction of the surface of the wire and upon impact with it will create a microplastic treatment. In this way, it ensures the operation of all tools, that is, it increases the productivity of processing, as well as high-quality processing of rough and uneven surfaces.
Якщо розмір вихідного кінця одного інструменту в напрямі переміщення буде 1 (Фіг.4), то при його частоті коливань -Since the working tools oscillate only in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the wire, there is no removal and removal of the surface layer of the wire material. Normal vibro-impact treatment with OV leads to surface strengthening of the wire, reduction or benign redistribution of residual micro-stresses, and improvement of the quality of the surface layer. To obtain high quality and stability of such i) processing, it is necessary to achieve a uniform distribution of micro-impacts of all working tools both along the profile of the product and along its length. Evenness of processing along the profile is achieved by dispersing the working tools along it, and along the length - by setting the speed of wire movement M, which is selected so that each blow of a separate tool falls on an unprocessed area of the surface of the product immediately following the already processed one. the size of the output end of one tool in the direction of movement will be 1 (Fig. 4), then at its frequency of oscillation -
Its speed of moving wire 10 should be M-T.1. Then the tool 14 will make impressions on the surface of the Ge product close to each other (with a constructive gap). To increase the processing productivity, several impact elements 14, for example, Z (Fig. 4, and 8), are pressed to one end of the TKSH of the ultrasonic transducer 2 6. Each of them has size 1 in the direction of movement and is placed from each other at a distance NM, which is structurally smaller than size 1. During processing, if we assume the identity of their dynamic characteristics, they will simultaneously make three prints 28, located at distances Пп ( Fig. b). Thus, it is equivalent to increasing the size of 1 three times (by the number of working tools). Therefore, the previous ratio will become:
Mev n, « where: n is the number of working tools along one processing line. - c If an identical next ultrasonic transducer 27 is installed at a distance y, then its t tools will make similar blows (imprints) and the speed of M can be proportionally increased. In other "» words, each tool makes a sequence of blows on the surface of the product (imprints) with the appropriate frequency, which when the wire is stretched form one solid strip without gaps. If the speed is higher than the specified one, then there will be gaps in the processing, if it is lower, then the surfaces will be processed will overlap each other and the speed of processing will decrease. By changing the amplitude of oscillations of ultrasonic transducers and the force of pressure, it is possible to change the impact force, which will manifest itself in the depth of the layer of plastic deformation of the product material, which is specified for the given product. The necessary degree of vibration impact processing for given compressive residual voltage
Ge) are achieved by the number of successive low-amplitude shocks per unit of the side surface of the product, which in turn produce sets of working tools and ultrasonic transducers placed sequentially one after the other along each processing line. Since there is still a small force of friction between the wire 10, the tools 8 and the supports 11, 19, as a result of high-speed broaching, a certain amount of heat and reaction products will be released in the places of friction. Therefore, in order to normalize the thermal regime, remove the products of activation and, as a result, to stabilize the vibration-impact treatment, a lubricating and cooling agent (liquid, air) is additionally supplied to the contact zone of the working tools with the surface of the wire. The creation of preliminary acoustic contact between working tools and TKSH by means of elastic pressure reduces the force of pressure of the ultrasonic transducer on the surface of the product, which reduces the deformation of its profile and the amount of wear products. name) Example. A device was implemented according to the proposed method for processing a steel cord with a diameter
Oh, Zmm in one pass. Ultrasonic transducers had a resonant frequency of 22 kHz, they were installed in three rows of 3 pieces at an angle of 602 relative to each other. Each ultrasonic transducer had 4 tools and was pressed with a force of approximately 10 OH. The tools themselves had a diameter of Zmm, the broaching speed was
Bm/s, and in the prototype only 0.0025m/s. This arrangement of the device ensured uniform processing of the cord surface in sequence with an increase in the number of blows per unit surface of the product at an amplitude of oscillations of the end of the TKSH of ultrasonic tools of about 1Ωm, while the depth of the layer of plastic deformation of the cord material 65 corresponded to the processing technology, which ensured an increase in strength against alternating loads of approximately at 3095. At the same time, due to smoothing, the quality of the surface layer of the cord increased without removing its coating.
