Abstract
A method for the determination of thermal conductivity of material placed between the main and supplementary heaters through determination of heat flow and difference of stationary temperatures formed by the main heater on the hot and cold sides of the sample. First with supplementary heater stationary temperature drop through material under investigation is formed, after that one switches on the main heater and waits for stationary temperature drop phenomenon. Value of temperature difference on the surfaces of the sample is determined as difference of stationary drops formed before and after switching on the main heater, by those one determines heat conductivity of material.
