Abstract
An electromagnetic separator includes an electromagnetic system with poles, a rotary operating unit made from cassettes filled with ferromagnetic bodies in the form of fixed rods installed with clearances, a water spray, loading and unloading devices. For the purpose of increase of efficiency of the process of separation due to decrease of clogging of working clearances by magnetic particles the fastening of rods is performed along the planes of arrangement of their ends, and the lower plane of fastening forms a discharge trough.
