Abstract
A shell-and-tube heat exchanger comprises a cylindrical case, fittings, cover and bottom divided into sections by means of partitions, and two tube plates with heat exchange tubes fixed in those. On the outer surfaces of heat exchange tubes circular grooves are provided.
A container suitable for use as a tube heat exchanger or reformer, comprising a housing, a first tube plate, a second tube plate and a plurality of tubes arranged inside the container to form a bundle of tubes between the first plate of tubes and the second tube plate, characterized in that: each of said tubes has a first end with a simply supported connection in relation to said first tube plate.
