Abstract

This invention relates to the branch of decontamination of gaseous wastes, with the harmful gases of fuel-burning units among those. The method of decontamination of smoke gases is in following. The general flow of fuel is separated into two flows. The first flow of fuel is mixed with the smoke gases supplied to the combustion chamber. The second flow of fuel is directed to the burners of the combustion chamber, there it is burnt in medium of air, and than it is supplied to combustion chamber. As fuel one uses coke gas or blast-furnace gas, or generator gases, or mix of those gases. At that temperature of gases at outlet of combustion chamber is kept within 850 – 1150 centigrade degrees. This invention promotes decrease of concentration of carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides at the outlet of the combustion chamber.
