Abstract
A method fro restoring the chewing efficacy of the lower molars upon extraction of one root consists in constructing the dental bridge with preparation of two adjacent teeth. X-ray diagnostics is performed. The tooth is anesthesized. Then the vertical separation is performed followed by the extraction of the pathologically altered part of the tooth and filling the root canal. The half-crown is prepared for the healthy part of the tooth. On the adjacent tooth, the site for the cover plate in prepared. Finally, the cover plate, the ball anchor, and the clasps are joined to the half-crown.
