Abstract
A metal shock absorber has the upper and the lower support thickened plates and two thin wall arc-like elastic elements with vertical cuts that are rigidly connected to support plates. In the elastic elements vertical cuts are provided, with varying width, in such a way that elastic beams-strips at the ends of the cuts have width twice larger compared to that at the middle, for simultaneous formation of three plastic hinges.
