Abstract
The invention relates to the industrial fishery, in particular, to the methods of fungicidal and bactericidal treatment of fish roe with the aim of improving vital capacity thereof while incubating in the process of artificial reproduction of the fish. A method of prophylactic treatment of fish roe by means of treating the fish roe with a saturated complex of 8-hydroxyquinoline. The saturated complex of the 8-hydroxyquinoline with copper is used in concentrations of 0.145-0.290 mg/l (0.001-0.002 мМ/l) of the 8-hydroxyquinoline and 0.39-0.78 mg/l of CuSO4 x 5 H2O. The roe is kept in this solution for 30-40 minutes.
