Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for taking samples in melts with temperature above 600 °C, in particular melts of metals or cryolite melt, which comprises a bearing tube with immersed end and sample chamber placed on its immersed end. The sample chamber has an outlet opening and cavity for the melt samples and is placed, at least partially, in the bearing tube. Besides that, the sample chamber has at part of its outer surface a connection device placed in the bearing tube, for connection to the bearing mouthpiece. The invention relates as well to a method for sampling with use of the device for sampling.
