Abstract

一種光纖連接器,包含一前殼體,及一供該前殼體可拆離地設置的後殼體。該前殼體包括一圍繞出一朝前之開口的前擋部,及二由該前擋部的左右兩側向後延伸且各自界定出一扣槽的側擋部。該後殼體包括一圍繞出二連通該開口之穿槽的主體部,及二由該主體部的左右兩側向外凸伸並分別卡制於該等扣槽內的卡扣部。該光纖連接器採兩件式扣接設計,僅有兩個部件而將組件數量降至最低,且同樣能達成將複數插芯分別收容於該等穿槽中之功效。

Description

光纖連接器
本新型是有關於一種連接裝置,特別是指一種支援四通道介面的光纖連接裝置。
隨著資料傳輸技術的不斷進步,對應高速光纖的光纖連接器也推出新規格因應,例如四通道QSFP(Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable)介面,而相對應的光纖連接器也希望朝著體積微型化及組件單純化的方向改進,但市面上的光纖連接器考慮到要容置兩個插芯,且需能將插芯拆離,因此仍需仰賴三個以上的部件組成,因此尚有改善之空間。
因此,本新型之目的,即在提供一種組件單純化的光纖連接器。
於是,本新型光纖連接器包含一前殼體,及一供該前殼體可拆離地設置的後殼體。該前殼體包括一圍繞出一朝前之開口的前擋部,及二由該前擋部的左右兩側向後延伸且各自界定出一扣槽的側擋部。該後殼體包括一圍繞出二連通該開口之穿槽的主體部,及二由該主體部的左右兩側向外凸伸並分別卡制於該等扣槽內的卡扣部。
本新型之功效在於:該光纖連接器採兩件式扣接設計,僅有兩個部件而將組件數量降至最低,且同樣能達成將複數插芯分別收容於該等穿槽中之功效。
參閱圖1、圖2,及圖3,本新型光纖連接器之一實施例,首要說明的是,本實施例中所述的前方及後方,是以該光纖連接器進行插拔的方向為基準,***的方向為前、拔除的方向為後,並以此進一步界定出左右兩側及上下兩側。該光纖連接器包含一前殼體1、一可拆離地扣設於該前殼體1上的後殼體2,及一與該後殼體2一體連接且傾斜地朝後上方延伸的彈片3。該前殼體1包括一圍繞出一朝前之開口111的前擋部11、二由該前擋部11的左右兩側向後延伸且各自界定出一扣槽121的側擋部12,及一設置於該開口111內且沿左右方向延伸的分隔部13。每一扣槽121貫穿相對應側擋部12而沿左右方向貫通。該分隔部13將該開口111區隔出二向前連通外界的穿孔131。
該後殼體2包括一圍繞界定出兩個上下排列之穿槽211的主體部21,及二由該主體部21的左右兩側向外凸伸並分別卡制於該等扣槽121內的卡扣部22。該等穿槽211分別連通該等穿孔131。該彈片3一體連接該主體部21之頂面,並包括一連接該後殼體2的片體部31,及二由該片體部31的左右兩側向外凸伸的斜塊部32。每一斜塊部32具有一由前向後傾斜地向上延伸的斜面321。
本實施例可配合二插芯4使用,該等插芯4分別容置於該等穿槽211內並由該等穿孔131向前穿出。當要拆解該光纖連接器時,僅需按壓該等扣槽121內的卡扣部22,使該等卡扣部22不再卡制該等扣槽121,接著將該前殼體1向前挪移以將該前殼體1由該後殼體2拆離,如此便可快速拆解該光纖連接器。此外,該等斜塊部32可在該光纖連接器插設於適配器(圖未示)時,產生導引之功效。
綜上所述,本新型採兩件式設計,將所需的部件縮減至最小並減少所占用之空間,使組件單純化及微型化,該光纖連接器拆裝快速簡單,可提升使用便利性,故確實能達成本新型之目的。
惟以上所述者,僅為本新型之實施例而已,當不能以此限定本新型實施之範圍,凡是依本新型申請專利範圍及專利說明書內容所作之簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆仍屬本新型專利涵蓋之範圍內。

Claims (4)

  1. 一種光纖連接器,包含: 一前殼體,包括一圍繞出一朝前之開口的前擋部,及二由該前擋部的左右兩側向後延伸且各自界定出一扣槽的側擋部;及 一後殼體,供該前殼體可拆離地設置,並包括一圍繞出二連通該開口之穿槽的主體部,及二由該主體部的左右兩側向外凸伸並分別卡制於該等扣槽內的卡扣部。
  2. 如請求項1所述的光纖連接器,還包含一個一體連接於該後殼體之主體部頂面且傾斜地朝後上方延伸的彈片。
  3. 如請求項2所述的光纖連接器,其中,該彈片包括一連接該後殼體的片體部,及二由該片體部的左右兩側向外凸伸的斜塊部,每一斜塊部具有一由前向後傾斜地向上延伸的斜面。
  4. 如請求項1所述的光纖連接器,其中,該前殼體還包括一設置於該開口內且沿左右方向延伸的分隔部,該分隔部將該開口區隔出二分別連接該等穿槽的穿孔。
