The invention provides a touch panel and a cover substrate structure thereof. The touch panel includes a cover substrate structure, a touch sensing layer and an insulating layer. The cover substrate structure includes a protective substrate and a shielding layer formed on at least a region of the surface of the protective substrate. The region where the shielding layer is formed defines a non-visible region of the touch panel, wherein the shielding layer is selected from the group consisting of metal and its oxide.
