A bicycle has an inner chain link comprising a first link plate and a second link plate; the first link plate has a first chamfer section formed on the first inner peripheral edge portion and the second link plate has a second chamfer section formed on the second inner peripheral edge portion; the first and second chamfer sections have a first width and a second width respectively; the first width of the second chamfer section is smaller than the first width of the first chamfer section and the second width of the second chamfer section is smaller than the second width of the first chamfer section.
