(設計上的基重雖為0，但包含有混入了周圍的吸收材料的部分)，也可為配置有較周圍更少基重的吸收材料的部分。低基重部33也可是在寬邊方向W上具有一定的長度的細縫，也可是寬邊方向W的長度實質上為零的切口。各低基重部33的寬邊方向W的長度在2mm以上10mm以下即可，更理想為吸收芯31的厚度以上、8mm以下即可。藉由將低基重部33的寬邊方向的長度設在吸收芯31的厚度以上，而以低基重部33為基點，使吸收芯31容易朝厚度方向變形。又，將低基重部33的寬邊方向的長度設在8mm以下，可抑制低基重部的寬邊方向的長度長所致的相對於吸收性能的不安感的低基重部33的前後方向L的長度在30mm以上180mm以下為理想。
