In the display panel 20 of FIG. 4 , three first sub-pixels SP1 constitute a first pixel structure PX1 , and three second sub-pixels SP2 constitute a second pixel structure PX2 , and the first pixel structure PX1 Alternately arranged with the second pixel structure PX2. For example, the first pixel structures PX1 and the second pixel structures PX2 are alternately arranged in the first direction DR1, and the first pixel structures PX1 and the second pixel structures PX2 are alternately arranged in the second direction DR2.

In this embodiment, the first pixel structure PX1 and the second pixel structure PX2 each include a red sub-pixel R, a green sub-pixel G, and a blue sub-pixel B. For example, the leftmost first sub-pixel SP1 in each first pixel structure PX1 and the leftmost second sub-pixel SP2 in each second pixel structure PX2 are the red sub-pixel R; The first sub-pixel SP1 in the middle of the pixel structure PX1 and the second sub-pixel SP2 in the middle of each second pixel structure PX2 are the green sub-pixel G; the rightmost first sub-pixel in each of the first pixel structures PX1 SP1 and the rightmost of the second pixel structures PX2 The second sub-pixel SP2 is the blue sub-pixel B. However, the present invention does not limit the arrangement order of the red sub-pixel R, the green sub-pixel G, and the blue sub-pixel B. In other embodiments, the red sub-pixel R, the green sub-pixel G, and the blue sub-pixel B may also be arranged in other order.

In this embodiment, the first pixel structure PX1 is the first sub-pixel SP1, and the second pixel structure PX2 is the second sub-pixel SP2, so as to avoid the problem of color shift in the display screen .

FIG. 5 is a schematic top view of a first pixel electrode PE1 and a second pixel electrode PE2 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

It must be noted here that the embodiment of FIG. 5 uses the element numbers and part of the content of the embodiment of FIG. 3 , wherein the same or similar numbers are used to represent the same or similar elements, and the description of the same technical content is omitted. For the description of the omitted part, reference may be made to the foregoing embodiments, which will not be repeated here.

Referring to FIG. 5 , in this embodiment, the included angle α between the edges of the first comb-shaped portion 320 of the first pixel electrode PE1 is less than 90 degrees (eg, 30 degrees), and the included angle β between the edges of the second comb-shaped portion 340 is less than 90 degrees (eg, 30 degrees); the included angle γ of the edges of the third comb-shaped portion 420 of the second pixel electrode PE2 is less than 90 degrees (eg, 30 degrees), and the included angle δ of the edges of the fourth comb-shaped portion 440 is less than 90 degrees (eg 30 degrees).

In this embodiment, the first comb-shaped portion 320 , the second comb-shaped portion 340 , the third comb-shaped portion 420 and the fourth comb-shaped portion 440 can limit the region with poor liquid crystal efficiency to the position overlapping the shielding electrode. This improves the penetration of sub-pixels.

344。 FIG. 6A is a simulation diagram of the liquid crystal effect of the first pixel electrode PE1 of FIG. 5 . FIG. 6B is a simulation diagram of the liquid crystal effect according to the comparative example of the present invention. The difference between the first pixel electrode PE1 of FIG. 6A and the pixel electrode PE of the comparative example of FIG. 6B is that the pixel electrode PE of the comparative example of FIG. 6B does not have the extending portion 324 of the first comb-shaped portion 320 and the second comb The extension 344 of the shaped portion 340 is formed.

6A and 6B, it can be known that the first comb-shaped portion 320 of the first pixel electrode PE1 overlaps the first shielding electrode CE1 and has an extension portion 324. Therefore, the area with poor liquid crystal efficiency can be limited to overlap with the first shielding electrode CE1. A shielding the position of the electrode CE1, thereby improving the transmittance of the sub-pixel. Similarly, the second comb-shaped portion 340 of the first pixel electrode PE1 overlaps the first shielding electrode CE1 and has an extension portion 344, so the region with poor liquid crystal efficiency can be limited to the position overlapping the first shielding electrode CE1 , thereby improving the penetration rate of sub-pixels.

FIG. 7 is a schematic top view of a display panel 30 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

It must be noted here that the embodiment of FIG. 7 uses the element numbers and part of the content of the embodiment of FIG. 2B , wherein the same or similar numbers are used to represent the same or similar elements, and the description of the same technical content is omitted. For the description of the omitted part, reference may be made to the foregoing embodiments, which will not be repeated here.

CM。 The difference between the display panel 30 of FIG. 7 and the display panel 10 of FIG. 2B is that the display panel 30 further includes a common electrode CM.

In this embodiment, the common electrode CM, for example, belongs to the same conductive layer as the first pixel electrode PE1 and the second pixel electrode PE2. For example, the common electrode CM, the first pixel electrode PE1 and the second pixel electrode PE2 are made of the same transparent conductive layer. Formed after patterning the electrical material.

SL。 In this embodiment, in the normal direction of the first substrate 100 , the common electrode CM overlaps the data line DL and the scan line SL.

To sum up, since the angle between the extending direction of the central connecting portion of the pixel electrode and the first direction is 40 to 50 degrees, the problem of uneven brightness of sub-pixels when the viewing angle is large can be improved. In addition, the comb-shaped portion of the pixel electrode overlaps the shielding electrode and has an extension portion, so the region with poor liquid crystal efficiency can be limited to the position overlapping the shielding electrode, thereby improving the transmittance of the sub-pixels.
