Description
本發明涉及OLED顯示面板的製造領域,尤其涉及OLED顯示面板的像素排布結構。
圖1所示爲現有的OLED顯示面板的像素的RGB排布結構的示意圖,其爲傳統的並列(side by side)排布方式,也稱爲真正條紋(real-stripe)像素排布。在圖1示出的並列排布方式中,OLED 顯示面板包括多行多列的像素單元,每個像素單元內包括紅(R)、綠(G)、藍(B)三個並列的子像素。
又如圖1所示, 現行的像素設計由一條橫向的掃描線搭配三條與該掃描線垂直,並分別爲對應紅色子像素R、綠色子像素G以及藍色子像素B的數據線。
但以此像素排列方式放置於高分辨率的面板中,會使的每一子像素的橫向的寬度過小。此種結構不利於在高分辨率TFT的搭配設計。以5”440(PPI)的分辨率爲例,三原色子像素各分配到 19um 的像素寬度,容易對於 TFT工藝的良率産生不 良的影響。另外,在圖1所示的像素排布中,數據線的開銷較大。
因此,需要一種有利於提高分辨率、减小數據線開銷的解决方案。
在所述背景技術部分公開的上述信息僅用於加强對本公開的背景的理解,因此它可以包括不構成對本領域普通技術人員已知的現有技術的信息。
本發明公開了 一種顯示面板的像素的RGB排布結構,用以解决現有的 像素的RGB排布結構 會使的單一軸向的寬度過小,容易對於 TFT工藝的良率産生不良的影響的問題。
本發明一種顯示面板的像素結構,一種顯示面板的像素結構,包括:一像素,包括第一子像素、第二子像素以及第三子像素;一第一掃描線,用於向該第一子像素以及該第二子像素提供掃描信號;一第二掃描線,用於向該第三子像素提供掃描信號;一第一數據線,用於向該第一子像素以及該第三子像素提供像素數據;一第二數據線,用於向該第二子像素提供像素數據;其中,第一掃描線連接該第一子像素以及該第二子像素,第二掃描線連接該第三子像素,第一數據線連接該第一子像素以及該第三子像素,第二數據線連接該第二子像素。
根據本發明的顯示面板像素排布結構的一實施例,其中,該 第一掃描線以及第二掃描線 相互平行,該 第一數據線和該第二數據線 相互平行,該 第一掃描線以及第二掃描線 與該 第一數據線和該第二 數據線相互垂直。
根據本發明的顯示面板像素排布結構的一實施例,其中,該 第一 子像素 、第二子像素以及第三子像素 的排列方式爲,該第一子像素以及該第二子像素成橫向排列,該第一子像素與該第三子像素成一縱向排列。
根據本發明的顯示面板像素排布結構的一實施例,其中,該像素的該 第一 子像素 、第二子像素以及第三子像素 的寬度爲該像素寬的一半。
根據本發明的顯示面板像素排布結構的一實施例,其中,該第一子像素、第二子像素以及第三子像素爲紅、綠和藍三色子像素 。
根據本發明的顯示面板像素排布結構的一實施例,其中,該第一以及第二掃描線的掃描頻率爲120hz。
本發明還提供了一種顯示面板,包括上述的顯示面板的像素結構,多個具有該像素結構的像素分別成橫向以及縱向等間隔排列。
綜上,本發明的通過將單位像素的藍色子像素、紅色子像素以及綠色子像素成一仁字形排列,並且通過兩條掃描線進行掃描,使得三個子像素的布局更爲合理,解决了 現有的 像素的RGB排布結構 會使的單一軸向的寬度過小的問題。

圖1所示爲現有的顯示面板的像素結構的示意圖;

圖2所示爲根據本發明示範實施方式的顯示面板的像素排布結構的示意圖,以單位像素爲例說明本實施例的RGB排布結構。參考圖2,示出的像素排布結構包括 紅色子像素R、綠色子像素G、藍色子像素B、數據線Data1、數據線Data2、掃描線Scan1以及掃描線Scan2。
參考圖2,紅色子像素R、藍色子像素B以及綠色子像素G的三個子像素呈三角形排列。具體而言,在根據本公開的示範實施方式中,像素結構包括多行多列的單位像素,每個單位像素包括紅色子像素R、綠色子像素G以及藍色子像素B。紅色子像素R和綠色子像素G排布在藍色子像素B的一邊,且紅色子像素R以及綠色子像素G沿縱向上下並排排布成一列。
根據一實施例,紅色子像素R、綠色子像素G、藍色子像素B可以爲例如矩形。根據另一實施例,藍色子像素B可以爲例如長方形,紅色子像素R、綠色子像素G可以爲例如正方形。
藍色子像素B的面積例如可以大於紅色子像素R及綠色子像素G的面積。
參見圖2,數據線Data1分別連接紅色子像素R以及綠色子像素G。數據線Data2連接藍色子像素B。掃描線Scan1分別連接紅色子像素R以及綠色子像素B。掃描線Scan2連接綠色子像素G。
進一步參考圖2,對於較佳的實施方式,單位像素的 RGB排布結構進一步可以爲,掃描線Scan1以及掃描線Scan2相互平行;數據線Data1以及數據線Data2相互平行。且數據線Data1以及數據線Data2均垂直於掃描線Scan1以及掃描線Scan2。
進一步參考圖2,一般現有的5”440的分辨率的單位像素的橫向長度爲57um,因此本實施例中,由於綠色子像素G位於紅色子像素R之下,故紅色子像素R以及藍色子像素B所占的橫向長度各爲28.5um。而現有的5”440的分辨率的單位像素,由於紅色子像素R、藍色子像素B以及綠色子像素G成一行排列的情况,每個子像素的橫向的長度爲19um。因此,本發明的排布方式可以增加子像素的橫向長度。
圖3所示爲圖2對應的時序圖,參考圖3,在一個單位像素的激發周期,在掃描線Scan1的掃描信號爲高電平後,數據線Data1以及數據線Data2同時爲高電平,以向紅色子像素R以及藍色子像素B提供像素數據,即此時,圖2中的紅色子像素R以及藍色子像素B被激發;在掃描線Scan1的掃描信號降爲低電平,掃描線Scan2的掃描信號升爲高電平後,數據線Data1爲高電平,以向綠色子像素G提供像素數據,數據線Data2爲低電平,此時,圖2中的綠色子像素G被激發。完成一個單位像素的激發周期。
由上述可知,對於本發明的像素的RGB排布結構,由於掃描線的數量爲兩個,故比之現有的單一掃描線的RGB排布結構,一個單位像素的激發周期內需要兩條掃描線分別爲高電平。故本發明的掃描線Scan1、掃描線Scan2的頻率應爲現有的單一掃描線頻率的兩倍。現有的掃描線頻率爲60hz,故本發明的掃描線Scan1、掃描線Scan2的的頻率爲120hz。
圖4爲本發明一種顯示面板的像素排列圖,本實施例以四個像素的排列爲例說明本發明顯示面板的像素排布結構,如圖4所示,像素排布結構包括掃描線Scan m-1、掃描線Scan m、掃描線Scan m+1、掃描線Scan m+2、數據線Data n-1、數據線Data n、數據線 n+1、數據線Data n+2以及四個像素的子像素。另外,如圖4所示,本實施例多個像素排列的排列結構即相當於將多個像素並列地成橫向以及縱向排列。一掃描線(如掃描線Scan m-1),對應第一排的兩像素的兩紅色子像素R以及兩藍色子像素B。一數據線(例如數據線Data n-1)對應第一列的兩像素的兩紅色子像素R以及兩綠色子像素G。
綜上,本發明的通過將單位像素的藍色子像素、紅色子像素以及綠色子像素成一仁字形排列,並且通過兩條掃描線進行掃描,使得三個子像素的布局更爲合理,解决了 現有的 像素的RGB排布結構 會使的單一軸向的寬度過小的問題。

- 一種顯示面板的像素結構,其特徵在於,包括:一像素,包括第一子像素、第二子像素以及第三子像素;一第一掃描線,用於向該第一子像素以及該第二子像素提供掃描信號;一第二掃描線,用於向該第三子像素提供掃描信號;一第一數據線,用於向該第一子像素以及該第三子像素提供像素數據;一第二數據線,用於向該第二子像素提供像素數據;其中,該第一掃描線連接該第一子像素以及該第二子像素,該第二掃描線連接該第三子像素,該第一數據線連接該第一子像素以及該第三子像素,該第二數據線連接該第二子像素;該第二子像素的面積大於該第一子像素的面積以及該第三子像素的面積。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的顯示面板的像素結構,其特徵在於,該第一掃描線以及第二掃描線相互平行,該第一數據線和該第二數據線相互平行,該第一掃描線以及第二掃描線與該第一數據線和該第二數據線相互垂直。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的顯示面板的像素結構,其特徵在於,該第一子像素、第二子像素以及第三子像素的排列方式為,該第一子像素以及該第二子像素成橫向排列,該第一子像素與該第三子像素成一縱向排列。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述的顯示面板的像素結構,其特徵在於,該像素的該第一子像素、第二子像素以及第三子像素的寬度為該像素寬的一半。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的顯示面板的像素結構,其特徵在於,該第一子像素、第二子像素以及第三子像素為紅、綠和藍三色子像素。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的顯示面板的像素結構,其特徵在於,該第一掃描線以及第二掃描線的掃描頻率為120hz。
- 一種顯示面板,其特徵在於,包括申請專利範圍第1-5任一申請專利範圍第所述的顯示面板的像素結構,多個具有該像素結構的像素分別成橫向以及縱向等間隔排列。
