Description

超寬頻天線
本發明是有關於一種天線,特別是指一種超寬頻天線。
筆記型電腦雖較桌上型電腦輕便,但動輒超過15吋的體積仍然太大且難以攜帶。迷你行動型電腦(Ultra Mobile PC,簡稱UMPC)的效能可提供一般大眾對攜帶型電腦的基本使用需求,且其體積介於PDA與筆記型電腦之間,尺寸一般在7吋以下,也因此UMPC成為目前新興藍海的輕便機種。
強調輕便易於攜帶的UMPC需要有高效能的無線模組,而無線模組中採用的天線設計又以平面型的天線最為廣泛使用,例如習知美國專利第7271771 B2發明案,揭示一種可應用於雙頻段的平面天線,但是其體積較大,佔用太多空間,無法設於嬌小的UMPC中,且此習知天線的工作頻段無法涵蓋無線區域網路【Wireless Local Area Network,頻段為2412~2462 MHz(802.11b/g)與4900~5875 MHz(802.11a),簡稱WLAN]及無線個人區域網路【Wireless Personal Area Network,頻段為2402~2480MHz(Bluetooth)與3168~4752 MHz(UWB Band I),簡稱WPAN]的應用頻段。
因此,本發明之目的,即在提供一種小尺寸且可涵蓋 WLAN與WPAN應用頻段的超寬頻天線。
本發明之另一目的,在於提供一種以平面印刷電路的方式,設於電路板上的超寬頻天線。
於是,本發明超寬頻天線,佈設於一電路板上,且該天線包含一T型輻射部及一耦合部;該T型輻射部包括一饋入段,以及由該饋入段的一端分別朝相反兩側延伸的一第一輻射段及一第二輻射段,該饋入段的另一端具有一饋入點;該耦合部鄰近該第二輻射段及該饋入段至少其中之一以相互耦合,並包括一與該電路板接地之接地端。較佳地,該T型輻射部與該耦合部是以平面印刷電路的方式,印刷於電路板上,並且T型輻射部的第一輻射段與該第二輻射段是沿該電路板的邊緣設置。
本發明之功效主要在於以平面印刷電路的方式實現可同時涵蓋WLAN與WPAN兩操作頻帶的超寬頻天線,不僅製作成本低廉,結構簡單且較立體的天線穩定,將原本需以兩不同天線來達成涵蓋WLAN與WPAN之操作頻帶整合成僅需使用本發明即可達成。
有關本發明之前述及其他技術內容、特點與功效,在以下配合參考圖式之較佳實施例的詳細說明中,將可清楚的呈現。
參閱圖1,本發明超寬頻天線之第一較佳實施例,包含印刷於一電路板9上的一T型輻射部1及一耦合部2。本實施例是以平面印刷電路的方式,將天線結構布設於電路板9 上,此作法是目前所知,較能降低製作成本且使其結構穩定的方法,當然亦可以其他方式將天線結構布設於電路板9上,例如黏貼,並不以本實施例即對應圖示為限。
該T型輻射部1包括一饋入段13,以及由該饋入段13的一端分別朝相反兩側延伸的一第一輻射段11及一第二輻射段12,該饋入段13的另一端具有一饋入點131,可供一射頻收發電路(圖未示)的訊號饋入。本實施例中,第一輻射段11長於第二輻射段12。值得注意的是,本實施例將天線設於電路板9的角落,並且第一、第二輻射段11、12皆是沿該電路板9的邊緣設置,如圖1所示,如此可儘量避免電路板9上其他電路的電磁干擾,進而發揮天線較佳的效能。
該耦合部2是概呈矩形的一金屬片,並且其彼此垂直的相鄰兩側,分別與饋入段13鄰近耦合部2之一側,以及與該第二輻射部12鄰近耦合部2之一側互相鄰近並且平行;該耦合部2還包括一電連接至電路板9系統接地(圖未示)的接地端21。
本發明超寬頻天線之較佳實施例實際尺寸請參閱圖2,圖2所示為本實施例的俯視圖,其中數字的單位為mm,可參閱各項數據以得知本實施例的實際規格尺寸。
參閱圖3,本發明超寬頻天線之較佳實施例涵蓋無線區域網路【Wireless Local Area Network,頻段為2412~2462 MHz(802.11b/g)與4900~5875 MHz(802.11a),簡稱WLAN]及無線個人區域網路【Wireless Personal Area Network,頻段 為2402~2480MHz(Bluetooth)與3168~4752 MHz(UWB Band I),簡稱WPAN]的應用頻段;本實施例可分別與彼此部分重疊的一低頻頻段與一高頻頻段產生共振,此二頻段橫跨2400MHz至6000MHz,並且經實驗得知,其電壓駐波比(VSWR)量測值,於上述頻段內皆可小於2.5。配合參閱圖1,較長的第一輻射段11主要是與低頻頻段的訊號產生共振,而較短的第二輻射段12,提供電磁能量予耦合部2,使第二輻射段12連同耦合部2與高頻頻段的訊號共振出圖3中的高頻模態。該第一輻射段1可設計成蜿蜒曲線型(Meander-line Type)以增加走線長度,如此可更降低低頻頻段的頻寬,使本發明所涵蓋的頻段更寬。
本實施例中,可藉由調整耦合部2與饋入段13之間的間距來達成低頻頻段的阻抗匹配,而調整耦合部2與第二輻射段12之間的間距,則可達成高頻頻段的阻抗匹配。
另由下表1及表2可知,表1為本實施例之天線應用在WPAN頻帶內的總輻射能量(Total Radiation Power)與效率(Efficiency)的數據,表2則為本實施例之天線應用在WLAN頻帶內的總輻射能量與效率的數據,兩者總輻射能量皆大於-3 dBm,且效率亦皆大於50%,由此可知,本實施例具有高增益(high gain)、效率佳的特點。
本實施例其輻射場型(Radiation Pattern),如圖4所示,是本實施例工作於低頻頻段中的2440 MHz時,在X-Y平面、X-Z平面及Y-Z平面的輻射場型量測結果。
參閱圖5,是本實施例工作於高頻頻段中的4224 MHz時,在X-Y平面、X-Z平面及Y-Z平面的輻射場型量測結 果。
參閱圖6,是本實施例工作於低頻頻段中的2437 MHz時,在X-Y平面、X-Z平面及Y-Z平面的輻射場型量測結果。
參閱圖7,是本實施例工作於高頻頻段中的5470 MHz時,在X-Y平面、X-Z平面及Y-Z平面的輻射場型量測結果。
綜合以上所述,本發明之功效主要在於以平面印刷電路的方式實現可同時涵蓋WLAN與WPAN兩操作頻帶的超寬頻天線,不僅製作成本低廉,結構簡單且較立體的天線穩定,將原本需以兩不同天線來達成涵蓋WLAN與WPAN之操作頻帶整合成僅需使用本發明即可達成。
惟以上所述者,僅為本發明之較佳實施例而已,當不能以此限定本發明實施之範圍,即大凡依本發明申請專利範圍及發明說明內容所作之簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆仍屬本發明專利涵蓋之範圍內。

Claims (3)

  1. 一種超寬頻天線,佈設於一電路板上,該超寬頻天線包含:一T型輻射部,包括一饋入段,以及由該饋入段的一端分別朝相反兩側延伸的一第一輻射段及一第二輻射段,該饋入段的另一端具有一饋入點,且該第一輻射段長於該第二輻射段;及一耦合部,鄰近該第二輻射段及該饋入段以相互耦合,並包括一接地端,且該耦合部概呈矩形,並且該耦合部之相鄰兩側分別與該饋入段鄰近之一側和該第二輻射部鄰近之一側平行。
  2. 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述之超寬頻天線,其中,該T型輻射部與該耦合部是印刷於該電路板上。
  3. 依據申請專利範圍第1或2項所述之超寬頻天線,其中,該第一輻射段與該第二輻射段是沿該電路板的邊緣設置。
