Abstract

The invention provides a cartridge, comprising a frame, a stretching tape, a tension mechanism, and a plurality of supporting columns. The frame comprises a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The stretching tape transverses the first side and the second side of the frame. The tension mechanism is disposed at the second side of the frame, and provides a pull force to the stretching tape, making the stretching tape be straight. The supporting columns are arranged at the upper surface of the stretching tape. The cartridge, via use of a mechanical arm to place or take out a glass substrate, prevents deformation of the stretching tape caused by excessive weight of the glass substrate.

Description

Card

This invention relates to a transport or storage device, and more particularly to a cassette for transporting or storing a substrate.

In the manufacturing process of liquid crystal displays, manufacturers often need to carry glass substrates in various processes. At present, the method of transporting the glass substrate is mainly to install the glass substrate in the cassette, and then use the carrier to transport the cassette.

At present, the general Cassette is mainly composed of a frame, a carbon fiber supporting rib and a supporting column. The carbon fiber support ribs span the opposite sides of the frame. The support columns are arranged on the carbon fiber support ribs for supporting the glass substrate. When the manufacturer wants to access the glass substrate, the robot arm (Robot Fork) can be inserted into the space between the support column and the support column to place or remove the glass substrate.

However, as the weight of the glass substrate is now heavier and heavier, the bending deformation of the carbon fiber support ribs is also increasing, and gradually exceeds the range that the process can tolerate. Therefore, this type of cassette is rarely used on large-sized panels.

In order to solve the above problems, most of the large-sized panels are currently used to transport or store glass substrates by using Wire Cassettes. This type of cable type card is mainly composed of a frame and a steel cable. The cable spans the opposite sides of the frame. During installation, the manufacturer applies a pre-tension on one or both ends of the cable to keep the cable straight during use. When in use, the user can place the glass substrate directly on the cable.

(Random Access)。Although this type of cassette deformation problem is small, since the glass substrate is placed directly on the cable, there is no space between the glass substrate and the cable to allow the robot to extend. Therefore, this type of cassette must use the roller to sequentially access the glass substrate during use, and cannot use the robot arm for random access.

One aspect of the present invention is a cassette.

According to an embodiment of the invention, a cassette includes a frame, a tension band, a tension mechanism, and a plurality of support columns. The frame includes a first side and a second side opposite each other. The tension band spans the first side and the second side of the frame. The tensioning mechanism is disposed on the second side of the frame and provides a tension to the tension band such that the tension band remains flat. The support columns are arranged on the upper surface of the tension band.

The above-described embodiments of the present invention have at least the following advantages over the known prior art:

(1) The tensile force is applied to the tension band by a tension mechanism to avoid deformation of the tension band due to excessive weight of the glass substrate.

(2) The form in which the support column supports the glass substrate is retained, so that the robot arm can still pass through the space between the support column and the support column to place or take out the glass substrate.

The embodiments of the present invention are disclosed in the following drawings, and the details of However, it should be understood that these practical details are not intended to limit the invention. That is, in some embodiments of the invention, these practical details are not necessary. In addition, some of the conventional structures and elements are shown in the drawings in a simplified schematic manner in order to simplify the drawings.

122。FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a cassette according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown, a cassette includes a frame 110, a tension band 120, a tensioning mechanism 130, and a plurality of support columns 140. The frame 110 includes a first side 111 and a second side 113 opposite each other. The tension band 120 spans the first side 111 and the second side 113 of the frame 110. The support columns 140 are arranged on the upper surface 122 of the tension band 120.

FIG. 2 is a partial enlarged view of the single tension band 120 and the tension mechanism 130 of FIG. 1 . 3 is a top view of the single tension band 120 of FIG. 1 across the frame 110. 4 is a front elevational view of the single tension band 120 of FIG. 1 across the frame 110. As shown, the tensioning mechanism 130 can be disposed on the second side 113 of the frame 110 and provide a tension to the tension band 120 such that the tension band 120 remains flat.

Since the tension mechanism 130 provides a tensile force to the tension band 120, the tension band 120 will not have too much bending deformation when carrying a large-sized glass substrate. In addition, since the upper surface 122 of the tension band 120 has a sufficient area, the above embodiment of the present invention arranges the support column 140 on the upper surface 122 of the tension band 120 so that the robot arm can protrude into the support column 140 and the support column 140. Space between the access to the glass substrate.

Referring to FIG. 1 , the frame 110 of the present embodiment includes a bottom plate 112 , a first upright 114 , and a second upright 116 . The first uprights 114 stand on the bottom plate 112 and are located on the first side 111 of the frame 110. The second post 116 also rests on the bottom plate 112 and is located on the second side 113 of the frame 110. The first uprights 114 and the second uprights 116 are opposite each other. The tension band 120 is connected across the first upright 114 and the second upright 116. The tension mechanism 130 is disposed on the second upright 116 for applying a tensile force to the tension band 120.

It should be understood that although the first column 114 and the second column 116 are respectively disposed on the first side 111 and the second side 113 of the frame 110, the present invention is not limited thereto. Where practical conditions permit, the elements disposed on the first side 111 and the second side 113 of the frame 110 may also be grid plates, angle steel frames, etc., as long as the elements are capable of providing physical support for the tension band 120. It can be connected to the tension mechanism 130.

Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the line segment 5 of Fig. 2. As shown, the tension band 120 of the present embodiment can include a plurality of wire ropes 126 and an outer liner 128. The wire ropes 126 are arranged substantially parallel to one another. The outer lining 128 covers the wire rope. The material of the outer liner 128 may be polyetheretherketone (PEEK). It should be understood that although the tension band 120 used in the present embodiment is a composite steel strip, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the above-mentioned tension belt 120 may also be a metal steel strip or an alloy steel, as the actual conditions permit. Belt, plastic belt, rubber belt, belt, etc.

In the present embodiment, the tension band 120 described above has a width of about 20 to 30 mm and a thickness of about 3 to 5 mm. Similarly, the above dimensional parameters are merely exemplary, and those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains should flexibly select the size of the tension band 120 as needed.

Referring to FIG. 3 , the tension mechanism 130 of the present embodiment includes a shaft seat 132 and an adjustment rod 134 . The axle seat 132 is disposed on the second side 113 of the frame 110 (more specifically, the second upright 116). The adjustment rod 134 is rotatably disposed on the shaft seat 132. The tension band 120 is wound around the adjustment lever 134. In use, the user can rotate the adjustment lever 134 according to the actual situation to adjust the tension applied to the tension band 120. In general, the greater the tension applied to the tension band 120, the heavier the weight of the tension band 120 can carry, but the maximum cannot exceed the elastic limit of the tension band 120, which would otherwise affect the useful life of the tension band 120.

To facilitate the user to rotate the adjustment rod 134, the tension mechanism 130 of the present embodiment may further include a screw head 136 connected to one end of the adjustment rod 134. The type of screw head 136 can be a general-purpose screw head, such as a TROX Head, a 12-Point Head, a Spline Head or a Square Head for convenient use. The adjustment is made with a general-purpose hand tool (for example, a torque wrench). Of course, the screw head 136 can also be a special type of screw head that is matched with a special tool to prevent an unauthorized person from arbitrarily adjusting the tension applied to the tension band 120.

In addition, since the tension band 120 of the present embodiment is coupled to the adjustment rod 134 in a winding manner, the axial direction of the adjustment rod 134 is designed to be substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120 to avoid application when a tensile force is applied. The pulling force is not parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120, so that the tension band 120 is deformed unevenly.

90°。It should be understood that "roughly" is used to modify any relationship that can be slightly changed, but such slight changes do not change its essence. For example, the above-mentioned "the axial direction of the adjustment rod 134 is designed to be substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120". This description is not limited to the fact that the axial direction of the adjustment lever 134 is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120, as long as the tension band 120 can be prevented from being unevenly deformed, or the distortion unevenness is within a tolerable range, the adjustment lever The angle between the axial direction of 134 and the length direction of tension band 120 may also be slightly less than 90°, or slightly greater than 90°.

Of course, after the other actual conditions are weighed, if the problem of unevenness is relatively unimportant, the manufacturer can also design the axial direction of the adjustment rod 134 so as not to be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120.

FIG. 6 is an exploded view of the tension band 120 and the adjustment lever 134 of FIG. As shown, in order to reliably connect the adjustment rod 134 and the tension band 120, the adjustment rod 134 of the present embodiment may include a consistent perforation 135 that may extend through the adjustment rod 134 along the radial direction of the adjustment rod 134. At the time of assembly, the manufacturer can pass one end of the tension band 120 through the through hole 135, and then wind the tension band 120 around the side wall of the adjustment rod 134 to fix it.

135。In order to prevent the tension band 120 from coming out of the through hole 135 during the winding process, the present embodiment is provided with a flange 124 at the end of the tension band 120 passing through the through hole 135. When assembled, the manufacturer can moderately press the flange 124 to cause the flange 124 to undergo elastic compression deformation to pass through the through hole 135. When the end of the tension band 120 passes through the through hole 135, the above-mentioned flange 124 will return to its original size and shape and abut against the side wall of the adjustment rod 134, so that the tension band 120 does not come out of the through hole 135.

The tension mechanism can be implemented in many different ways. In addition to the tension mechanism 130 described in the above embodiments, the tension mechanism can also be as shown in Figs. It should be understood that, in the following description, what has been described in the above embodiments will not be described again, and only the technical content of the tension mechanism portion will be supplemented.

FIG. 7 is a front elevational view of a single tension band 120 spanning the frame 110 in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention. As shown, the second side 113 of the frame 110 of the present embodiment (more specifically, the second upright 116) includes at least one perforation 117. The tension mechanism 230 includes an adjustment bolt 232 and a nut 234. The adjusting bolt 232 is partially located in the through hole 117, and the adjusting bolt 232 has a receiving hole 233 in the axial direction thereof. One end of the tension band 120 is fixed in the insertion hole 233. The nut 234 is locked to the adjustment bolt 232 and abuts against the second side 113 of the frame 110 (specifically, the second upright 116).

In use, the user can use a hand tool such as a torque wrench to rotate the nut 234, and the threaded structure between the nut 234 and the adjusting bolt 232 will apply a torque wrench to the torque or torsion movement of the nut 234. Converted to force or linear motion to the adjustment bolt 232. More specifically, when the user tightens the nut 234, the adjustment bolt 232 moves linearly relative to the nut 234 toward the outside of the cassette and thereby applies tension to the tension band 120. In general, the tighter the user screws the nut 234, the greater the pulling force applied to the tension band 120.

Similarly, the nut 234 of the present embodiment may be a general-purpose nut such as a TROX Nut, a 12-Point Nut, or a Spline Nut. Or square nut (Square Nut) for the user to adjust with a general-purpose hand tool. Of course, the nut 234 can also be a special-purpose nut that fits with a special tool to prevent an unauthorized person from arbitrarily adjusting the tension applied to the tension band 120.

In addition, since the tension band 120 of the present embodiment is coupled to the adjusting bolt 232 in an inserted manner, the axial direction of the adjusting bolt 232 is designed to be substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120 to avoid application when a tensile force is applied. The pulling force is not parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120, so that the tension band 120 is deformed unevenly.

It should be understood that "roughly" is used to modify any relationship that can be slightly changed, but such slight changes do not change its essence. For example, the above-mentioned "the axial direction of the adjusting bolt 232 is designed to be substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120". This description is in addition to the fact that the axial direction of the adjustment bolt 232 is indeed parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120, as long as the tension band 120 can be prevented from being unevenly deformed, or the distortion unevenness is within a tolerable range, the adjustment bolt is adjusted. The axial direction of 232 and the length direction of the tension band 120 may also be slightly skewed.

Of course, after the other actual conditions are weighed, if the problem of unevenness is relatively unimportant, the manufacturer can also design the axial direction of the adjusting bolt 232 so as not to be parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120.

In addition, if the actual situation requires, the embodiment may also add an adjustable tension mechanism 250 to the first side 111 of the frame 110. Specifically, the first side 111 (more specifically, the first upright 114) of the frame 110 of the present embodiment may include at least one through hole 115. The tension mechanism 250 described above may include an adjustment bolt 252 and a nut 254. The adjusting bolt 252 is partially located in the through hole 115, and the adjusting bolt 252 has a receiving hole 253 in the axial direction thereof. One end of the tension band 120 is fixed in the insertion hole 253. The nut 254 is locked to the adjustment bolt 252 and abuts against the first side 111 of the frame 110 (specifically, the first upright 114).

In use, the user can rotate the nut 254 using a hand tool such as a torque wrench to adjust the tension applied to the tension band 120. Similarly, the nut 254 of the present embodiment may be a general-purpose nut such as a TROX Nut, a 12-Point Nut, or a Spline Nut. Or square nut (Square Nut) for the user to adjust with a general-purpose hand tool. Of course, the nut 254 can also be a special-purpose nut that fits with a special tool to prevent an unauthorized person from arbitrarily adjusting the tension applied to the tension band 120.

For ease of use, the nut 234 and the nut 254 can be of the same style for the user to adjust with the same hand tool. Of course, if the actual situation requires the user to adjust the nut 234 and the nut 254 with different hand tools, the nut 234 and the nut 254 can also adopt different styles.

In addition, since the tension band 120 of the present embodiment is coupled to the adjusting bolt 252 in an inserted manner, the axial direction of the adjusting bolt 252 is designed to be substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120 to avoid application when a tensile force is applied. The pulling force is not parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120, so that the tension band 120 is deformed unevenly.

It should be understood that "roughly" is used to modify any relationship that can be slightly changed, but such slight changes do not change its essence. For example, the above-mentioned "the axial direction of the adjusting bolt 252 is designed to be substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120". This description is in addition to the fact that the axial direction of the adjustment bolt 252 is indeed parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120, as long as the tension band 120 can be prevented from being unevenly deformed, or the distortion unevenness is within a tolerable range, the adjustment bolt is adjusted. The axial direction of 252 and the length direction of the tension band 120 may also be slightly skewed.

Of course, after the other actual conditions are weighed, if the problem of unevenness is relatively unimportant, the manufacturer can also design the axial direction of the adjusting bolt 252 so as not to be parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tension band 120.

In addition, the tension mechanism 250 may be spring-loaded (as shown in FIG. 8) in addition to the aspect shown in FIG. Specifically, the tension mechanism 350 illustrated in FIG. 8 includes a coupling post 352, a flange 354, and a spring 356. The binding post 352 is partially located in the through hole 115, and the coupling post 352 has a receiving hole 353 along its axial direction. One end of the tension band 120 is fixed in the insertion hole 353. The flange 354 is disposed on the coupling post 352 and is located outside the perforation 115. One end of the spring 356 abuts the flange 354 and the other end abuts against the first side 111 of the frame 110 (specifically, the first upright 114).

In use, the user can rotate the nut 234 using a hand tool such as a torque wrench. As previously described, the threaded configuration between the nut 234 and the adjustment bolt 232 at this time will impart a torsional or torsional motion of the torque wrench to the nut 234, converting to a force or linear motion to the adjustment bolt 232. More specifically, when the user tightens the nut 234, the adjusting bolt 232 moves linearly toward the outside of the clicker relative to the nut 234, and the tension band 120 is pulled in the same direction. In addition, the coupling post 352 and the flange 354 are also moved in the same direction by the pulling of the tension band 120 such that the flange 354 compresses the spring 356 inwardly. At this time, the restoring force of the spring 356 will be applied to the tension band 120 through the flange 354 and the coupling post 352, so that the tension band 120 remains flat.

Of course, after the other actual conditions are balanced, if the effect of setting the tension mechanism on the first side 111 is limited, the manufacturer may not directly set the tension mechanism on the first side 111, and directly fix the tension band 120 on the first column 114. .

122。There are many ways in which the support post 140 and the tension band 120 can be connected. In the above embodiment of the present invention, the support post 140 is fixed to the upper surface 122 of the tension band 120 in an adhesive manner. However, this does not limit the invention, and the manufacturer may also attach the support post 140 to the upper surface 122 of the tension band 120 by additionally attaching a fastener or a knot.
