Abstract

The present invention provides a switch device which is superior in productivity, inexpensive, stable in contact, and versatile in connection. The switch device of the present invention comprises: a housing 1 including insertion holes 2e through which external terminals 13a, 13b can be inserted; first and second terminal plates 8, 9 that are composed of metal plates and include: first and second contacts 8a, 9a which can come into contact with a movable contact 10; and first, and second contacts 8c, 9c which can come into contact with the external terminals 13a, 13b respectively. The first and the second contact parts 8c, 9c composed of the metal plates are spaced away from each other, and the surfaces of the first and the second contacts 8c, 9c are arranged in parallel to each other. As a result, since the connected directions of the external terminals 13a, 13b can correspond to a side face wall 2b or a rear face wall 2a of the housing 1, versatility is increased by changing only positions of the insertion holes 2e, thereby enabling common use of components and reducing costs.
