Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus having electrochemical and polishing treatments and the method for the same. The apparatus is provided with a power supply with positive and negative electrodes; an outer metal surface of a conductive thin sheet is connected to the positive electrode; an electrode member is connected to the negative electrode and separated from the metal surface with an interval of a reaction gap and soaped in an electrochemical liquid, so that metal oxide is formed because a plurality of bumps on the surface of the metal react with the electrochemical liquid. The metal oxide is removed by impacting with a polishing member, to improve the surface roughness of the outer metal surface, via the steps of: (1) preparation process, (2) electrochemical reaction process, and (3) polishing process. The advantages are improving the surface roughness after processing and the process can be used on a large and consecutive surface, working with micro-vibration device and working on a surface having particular shape.
