A device of adjusting charge limitation current of a portable computer has an outside power source, a charge module, a voltage checking circuit, and a control circuit. The voltage checking circuit checks the voltage of the outside power source. If the outside power source worked in a low voltage mode, the checking circuit would product a checking signal to control circuit according the checking result. The control circuit make the charge limitation current of the portable computer be risen in accordance with the checking signal.
