Abstract

To provide a lever brake type spinning reel capable of obtaining a comparatively increased braking power and sustaining durability. This lever brake type spinning reel installs a reel body, a rotor, a spool, a braking part 20, a brake lever and a second braking part 21 braking at predetermined force. The braking part installs a one-way clutch 32 interlocking only to the rotation of the rotor to the yarn-delivering direction and a braking cylinder 40 on a spaced place from the one-way clutch which rotates interlocking to the rotation of the one-way clutch to the yarn-delivering direction, and the braking part is set able to brake the rotation of the rotor to the yarn-delivering direction. The braking lever is pressed onto the braking cylinder and capable of adjusting the braking force. The second braking part 21 has a first drag disk 22 not rotatable to the reel body and a second drag disk 23 pressed onto the first drag disk and rotates interlocking to the rotation of rotor to the yarn-delivering direction.
