Abstract

The present invention relates to a frequency adjusting method and device for oscillator built in the integrated circuit which comprises the initial signal, reset signal, timing reference pulse and the following circuits: a reference voltage generator with voltage stabilization, wherein a power can output a stable reference voltage through the reference voltage generator and the voltage is divided in 1/2 and 3/4 gains simultaneously for output; a fine tuner for receiving the reset signal and a stable reference voltage output from the reference voltage generator for adjusting as P gains to output; a charge/discharge oscillator for receiving the initial signal, the reference voltage, (1/2) reference voltage and (3/4) reference voltage from the fine tuner and the reference voltage generator, and outputting a square wave, wherein there is a resistor and capacitor in the charge/discharge oscillator to control the frequency of the square wave; a frequency counter for receiving the reset signal, timing reference pulse and the output square wave of the charge/discharge oscillator to count the frequency of the square waves for determining the value of the frequency and outputting the value, and outputting a program signal to the fine tuner; and a comparison table for comparing the inputted frequency value of the frequency counter with the configured value to obtain a relative value, denoted by fuse (0-n), to output to the fine tuner; the fine tuner determining a new P value according to the program signal and the corresponding burned fuse with relative fuse (0-n), and the charge/discharge oscillator can obtain a precise frequency based on the new P value.
