Abstract
A photocurable composition comprising (A)-α-cyanoacrylate and (B) aryl-ene metal derivative compound, containing transition metal in VIII group of the periodic table, and aromatic electronic ligand selected from π-aromatic hydrocarbon, indene and η-cyclopentadienyl, and optionally (C) splitting-type light primer. The photocurability of this photocured composition can be greatly enhanced with the addition of this splitting-type light primer which acts in the anionic catalytic polymerization. Moreover when the composition contains a free radical triggering polymerization component, such as acrylic acid compound, the composition will be cured rapidly due to the content of the primer. The splitting type primer used in this invention is a peroxide which can cure the composition after heating, or an azo compound where the composition can be formed by adjusting the amount of this primer and the amount of radiation the composition is subjected to.
