Abstract

A support plate for an appliance, in particular for a telephone apparatus, is distinguished by the fact that it has a plurality of height-adjustable projections on its top side, which projections interact with the underside of the appliance such that they hinder at least the lateral displacement of the said appliance. Preferably, the projections are pegs (7) which are held so as to be displaceable in guides (8) in the plate (5). They can be locked in various height settings and/or are provided on the top side with an attachment device, by means of which they can be joined to the underside of the appliance.
