Abstract

A process of producing bamboo composite floorboard (addition one), which comprises the steps of: selecting grown bamboo with diameter of more than 20 cm in which the wall thickness is more than about 6 mm, cutting the bamboo into cylindrical bamboo tubes according to the required length in which each bamboo tube retains its adjacent bamboo joints as much as possible, using a longitudinal cutter to cut each of the cylindrical bamboo tubes into unit bamboo strips with specified dimension, separately loading the unit bamboo strips on a conveyor which is installed with clamping device, moving the bamboo strips through a o shape cutter to trim circumference of the bamboo strips to make them into thin bamboo plate strips with rectangular edges, putting the bamboo plate strips into a net container made of stainless steel and moving the container together with the bamboo plate strips therein into a boiling tank which contains boiling water in which the tank is equipped with an ultrasonic vibration cleaner, undergoing cleaning and sterilization of the bamboo plate strips by vibration generated by the ultrasonic vibration cleaner in the boiling water which is contained in the tank and has been blended with salt, moving the bamboo plate strips into a bleaching tank, in which the tank contains 30% of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and is maintained at 70 deg.C, to be heated for 60 minutes after which the appearance of bamboo plate strips will become light and exhibit tender yellow gloss and is removed of nits, hanging the net container in air for about 5 minutes to drip dry the bamboo plate strips therein, moving the net container into a dryer so that the bamboo plate strips contained therein are dried by circulating hot wind at 80 deg.C and under ultraviolet light for about 100 minutes until the moisture content of the bamboo plate strips is below 6%, moving the bamboo plate strips to the field operation line to be classified by operators according to the strips' tincture and length, undergoing sizing process on the bamboo plate strips in which bi-component type epoxy resin mixed with polymer was used as the sealant and a few curing agent is added, using a coating machine to uniformly coat the mixed adhesive on locations of the bamboo plate strips of different dimension which are to be jointed together, assembling the bamboo plate strips coated with adhesive into a three-layer bamboo composite plate, moving the bamboo composite plate to the machine platform of a rotary high temperature hydraulic machine which is installed with high frequency heating device in which the side and front of the bamboo composite plate were pressed by the hydraulic arm of the high temperature hydraulic machine so that the bamboo plate strips in the bamboo composite plate are squeezed together and left no gap among them,heating the bamboo composite plate with a high frequency heater to cure the adhesive coated on the bamboo plate strips, after 3 to 5 minutes adjusting the operation of hydraulic machine to rotate its platform to bottom and blow in steam and hot air to speed up curing of the adhesives in the bamboo plate strips and complete bonding of the bamboo plate strips, releasing the clamped hydraulic arm according to reverse operations, processing the left side, right side, bottom face, upper side, lower side of the cured bamboo composite plate by a six-axis-type multiple-head four-side shaving machine to form bamboo composite floorboard with round protrudent joggle strip, inner dent groove, bottom dent groove, shaving and smoothening the bamboo composite floorboard followed by ultraviolet light irradiation to form the product; which is characterized in that: the process of producing bamboo composite floorboard (addition one) in which the upper layer and lower layer bamboo plate strips of the bamboo composite plate are bamboo plate strips with pre-determined size and the middle layer bamboo plate strips are selected from bamboo plate strips with different width and shorter length and crabwise aligned so that gaps of the formed composite plate with not be on a straight line in the longitudinal direction and the products prepared accordingly have better load capacity and sturdy construction and the material selection range of bamboo plate strips is wider.
