Abstract

A washing machine according to the present disclosure comprises: a housing; a water tank which is elastically supported in the housing so as to be swingable; a rotary drum which is encapsulated in the water tank so as to be rotatable; a pump unit which delivers washing water into the rotary drum; a mixing unit which is provided downstream from the pump unit; and a first path through which the washing water that flows into the mixing unit passes. The mixing unit includes a mixing unit body which is formed in a substantially box-like shape and in which the washing water is stirred, a mixing unit inlet through which the washing water is introduced into the mixing unit body, and a mixing unit outlet which is provided to the mixing unit body so as to face the mixing unit inlet and through which the washing water in the mixing unit body is discharged to the rotary drum. The mixing unit inlet and the mixing unit outlet have a cross-sectional area smaller than a path cross-sectional area of the mixing unit body.
