Description

電連接器
本發明涉及一種電連接器,尤其涉及一種通訊領域使用的高速背板連接器。
如美國2006年1月24日授權公告專利第US 6,988,902號中揭示了一種插頭電連接器與插座電接連接器的組合,其中所述插頭電連接器與插座電連接器均包括若干列端子,各列所述的端子包括差分信號對及設置在相鄰的差分信號對之間的接地端子,每一列的各差分信號對與相鄰列的相應的差分信號對錯開設置,相鄰列之間未設有金屬遮罩件,雖然通過所述差分對的錯位設置可以在一定程度上降低串擾,可以實現6Gbps及以下的較低差分信號的傳輸,但隨著差分信號傳送速率的提升,目前很多對差分信號傳輸的速度已經達到25Gbps,甚至更高地達到了56Gbps,從而,單純的這種錯位設置已經難以滿足高速信號的傳輸。
因此,需要一種改進的電連接器可以傳輸56Gbps或更高的差分信號傳輸。
本發明所要解決的技術問題在於提供一種傳輸速率高且結構簡單可靠的電連接器。
為解決上述問題,本發明可採用如下技術方案:一種電連接器,其可與對接連接器相互配合,所述電連接器包括絕緣殼體及固持在絕緣殼體中的若干端子,所述端子包括固持在絕緣殼體中的固持部、自固持部向前延伸的懸臂及位於懸臂前部的接觸部,所述懸臂上設有開槽,其中所述開槽延伸到所述接觸部以改善端子對之間的阻抗匹配。
與現有技術相比,本發明電連接器通過在端子的上設置延伸到接觸部的開槽,減小了端子的接觸面積,進而減小了電容效應,從而提升了整個傳輸路徑上的阻抗匹配,為高頻信號的穩定傳輸提供了更好的條件。
參閱第一圖至第十五圖所示,本發明的電連接器組件100,其包括第一電連接器1及與第一電連接器1相互配合的第二電連接器2,所述第一電連接器1安裝在第一電路板3上,所述第二電連接器2安裝在第二電路板4上,所述第一電連接器1和所述第二電連接器2配合後其每通道傳送速率可以達到112Gbps,甚至更高。

所述絕緣殼體10包括底壁11及自底壁11的同一側延伸出來的一對相互間隔設置的側壁12,所述底壁11與兩個側壁12共同圍設形成收容空間13。所述底壁11上包括若干以行和列設置的貫穿底壁11的用以安裝所述端子20及遮罩片30的安裝孔111。所述底壁11上設有若干向收容空間13凸伸出的用於支撐端子20的支撐壁113,每個所述支撐壁113上包括兩個槽道115。所述側壁12上設有引導第二電連接器2準確***收容空間13的導引條121。
所述端子20以若干行及若干列的方式安裝於絕緣殼體10的底壁11上,每個所述端子20包括用於固持在底壁11上的固持部21,自固持部21向下延伸出底壁11用於安裝在第一電路板3上的安裝部23、自固持部21向上延伸進入收容空間13的懸臂25及位於懸臂25的前部的接觸部251。所述懸臂25上設有開槽253,並且所述開槽253延伸到接觸部251。所述開槽253的周邊是完全被封閉在所述端子20內。所述懸臂25收容在所述槽道115內。通過在端子20的上設置延伸到接觸部的開槽,減小了端子的接觸面積,進而減小了電容效應,從而提升了整個傳輸路勁上的阻抗匹配。所述安裝部23包括具有魚眼孔結構的安裝腳231。所述端子20從金屬平板材料衝壓後再彎折而成而成,每個所述端子20包括金屬平板所在面的寬邊及從平板材料下料而成的窄邊,所述固持部21的兩側窄邊上設有向相應外側凸伸出的倒刺211,所述寬邊設有從寬邊凸出的寬倒刺215,所述寬倒刺215是從寬邊撕裂而出。每個所述端子20安裝在底壁11上的安裝孔111內並通過倒刺211和寬倒刺215固定在底壁11上。兩個相鄰近的所述端子20形成端子對22,用以傳輸一對差分信號。形成所述端子對22的兩個端子20之間從安裝部23到接觸部251都為窄邊耦合。形成端子對22中的一個端子20的接觸部251的中心到另一個端子20接觸部251的中心的距離為第一尺寸,並且安裝部23的中心到另一個端子20的安裝部23的中心之間的距離為第二尺寸,所述第一尺寸小於第二尺寸,以減小所述端子對22與相鄰所述端子對22之間的信號串擾。
所述遮罩片30由片狀金屬材質衝壓後再彎折而成。所述遮罩片30包括主壁31及從主壁的兩側向同一方向延伸出的一對側邊壁33,所述主壁31和兩個側邊壁33在三個方向上包圍一個所述端子對22,將所述端子對22與其它端子對22相遮罩。所述主壁31與其遮罩的端子對22的寬邊相平行,一對所述側邊壁33分別與端子對22的相應的窄邊相對。本實施例中,將遮罩片30面向其包圍的端子對的一側定義為內側,與內側相對的一側定義為外側。每個所述側邊壁33上包括一個接觸彈片331,每個所述接觸彈片331包括接觸凸起333,所述接觸彈片331向內側延伸出,所述接觸凸起333向內側凸起。所述遮罩片30包括主體部310,自主體部310向下延伸用於安裝在第一電路板3上的第一安裝部311以及自主體部310向上延伸進入收容空間13的第一對接部313。所述遮罩片30通過主體部310直接固定安裝於所述底壁11上。所述接觸彈片331從所述第一對接部313一體衝壓形成。所述第一對接部313延伸進入收容空間13的尺寸大於所述端子20的接觸部251延伸進入收容空間13的尺寸。每個所述側邊壁33上包括一個接地腳317。
所述第二電連接器2包括外殼40、多個安裝在外殼40中並橫向對齊設置的端子模組50、固定所述端子模組50的保持件49,每個所述端子模組50包括絕緣本體60、固持在絕緣本體60中的多個信號端子70、固持在絕緣本體60中的多個接地端子80及位於端子模組50一側的接地板90。
所述外殼40包括具有前配合面401基體41、自基體41向後延伸出的上壁413、下壁414及連接所述上、下壁的一對連接壁416,所述上壁413、下壁414和一對連接壁416共同圍設形成收容腔43。多個端子模組50的前部自後向前收容在收容腔43中。所述基體41包括在上壁413和下壁414的外表面上的定位槽421。所述定位槽421用於與第一電連接器1上的導引條121相互配合。所述下壁414及上壁413位於收容腔一側都設有若干引導端子模組50對準的導引槽431,其中所述上壁413上的導引槽431中包括貫所述上壁的孔433。所述基體41上包括多個貫穿所述前配合面401和所述收容腔43的對準孔415用於接收配合的第一電連接器1上的端子20及遮罩片30。
所述絕緣本體60為片狀,其包括朝安裝方向的設置的下緣61、與下緣61相對的上緣62、朝向對接電連接器的前緣63及與前緣63相對設置的後緣64。所述後緣64上設有卡持凸棱641,所述保持件49包括收容對應卡持凸棱641的卡持孔494,因此,各端子模組50通過保持件49及外殼40,以實現橫向對齊地固定為一體。所述絕緣本體60具有在其厚度方向相對設置的第一側面66及第二側面67,第一側面66上設有若干安裝槽662。所述絕緣本體60外表面塗覆有層吸波材料。
所述信號端子70一體成型在所述絕緣本體60中,所述信號端子70以信號端子對710的形式設置,每個所述信號端子對710用於傳輸一對差分信號,每個所述信號端子70包括沿對接方向延伸出絕緣本體60的對接端73、沿安裝方向延伸出絕緣本體60並可安裝在所述第二電路板4上的安裝端74,以及在安裝端74與對接端73之間中間部75。所述對接端73垂直於所述安裝端74。每個所述信號端子70包括寬邊和窄邊,所述信號端子對710寬邊設置在同一平面,並且所述信號端子對710從安裝端74到所述對接端73都為窄邊耦合。所述絕緣本體60上設有將信號端子70暴露在空氣中的空氣間隙721,所述空氣間隙721可以只設置在絕緣本體60一側也可是絕緣本體60兩側都設置,其目的是讓處於空氣間隙721位置的信號端子70暴露與空氣中,通過不同材料之介電常數不同來調整電容效應,以改善其特性阻抗使之滿足80~100ohm,也可以是在開孔位置植入與所述絕緣本體60材料不同之介電常數之材料或者是是通過植入一電氣組件來調整電容效應。
所述接地端子80包括與第一電連接器1相互配合的接地配合端83、安裝在第二電路板上的接地安裝端84及在接地安裝端84與接地配合端83之間的過渡部85,每個接地端子80安裝在絕緣本體60上對應的一個安裝槽662中。在豎直方向上各所述差分信號端子對710的兩側都設有接地端子80。所述接地配合端83與過渡部85連接處設有將信號端子對710兩側的接地端子80連接在一起的連接件851,所述連接件851和其連接的兩個所述接地端子80一體衝壓而成。所述接地安裝端84延伸超出信號端子70安裝端74。每個所述接地端子80包括寬邊和窄邊。每個所述接地端子80的寬邊設置在與差分信號端子對710的寬邊所在的平面相互垂直的平面中。所述信號端子70的中間部75在在所述接地端子80的寬邊方向上內彎曲蛇形設置,其目的是實現信號端子對710之物理結構等長,進而實現電氣結構等長,以消減信號傳輸之偏差小於0.20皮秒(ps)。本實施例中每個所述端子模組50包括兩個信號端子對710,每個所述信號端子對710兩側均包括一對相互通過連接件851連接在一起的接地端子80。接地端子80通過連接件851相互連接在一起減小了相鄰信號端子對710之間的串擾。所述接地端子80與絕緣本體60上的吸波材料相接觸在一起,從而在遮罩信號端子對710與相鄰信號端子對710的同時吸收信號傳輸過程無效電磁波,改善信號傳輸過程的串擾及雜訊。當第一電連接器1和第二電連接器2配合後,端子對22與對應的信號端子70相互配合,形成一個信號通路。遮罩端子對22的遮罩片30上的接觸彈片331的上的接觸凸起333與對應的所述接地端子80的接地配合端83的外側相互配合,在整個路徑上遮罩所述端子對22和與對應的信號端子對710組成的信號通路,並且具有較好的遮罩電磁串擾的效果。
所述接地板90安裝在所述絕緣本體60第一側面66,所述接地板90與連接件851設置在所述絕緣本體60的同一側,並且所述連接件851沿對接方向位於所述接地板90的前面。所述絕緣本體60上設有卡槽665,所述接地板90上設有與所述卡槽665相配合的卡持片95。所述接地板90通過組裝或焊接等其它工藝與接地端子80機械及電性的連接在一起,並且接地端子80與接地板90橫向方向之間的距離小於0.2毫米,以減少信號洩露,影響相鄰信號端子對710之間的信號傳輸,防止EMI。
多個所述端子模組50包括第一端子模組51和與第一端子模組51相互配合的第二端子模組52,所述第一端子模組51和所述第二端子模組52通過定位孔和定位柱相互組合在一起。在橫向方向上所述第一端子模組51和所述第二端子模組52中的所述信號端子對710在安裝端74和所述對接端73都錯位排列,以提升信號傳輸之抗干擾能力。所述第一端子模組51的所述絕緣本體60的上緣62和下緣61上分別設有第一導引凸台511,所述第二端子模組52的所述絕緣本體60的上緣62和下緣61上分別設有第二導引凸台521,並且各所述上緣62上的所述第一導引凸台511設有第一凸起513,各所述上緣62的所述第二導引凸台521上設有第二凸起523,所述第一導引凸台511和所述第二導引凸台521組合與所述外殼40的上壁413和所述下壁414上的對應的同一個導引槽431配合,並且所述第一凸起513和所述第二凸起523與所述外殼40的所述上壁413的同一個對應的孔433配合。
參考第十六圖至第十七圖為本發明的第一電連接器的另一實施例,與第一實施例相比,本實施例的所述第一電連接器1’進一步包括固定塊200,所述端子對22’ 和所述遮罩片30’均一體成型固定於所述固定塊200。所述固定塊200外表面塗覆有吸波材料201以吸收信號傳輸過程無效電磁波,改善信號傳輸過程的串擾及雜訊。所述底壁11’上的安裝孔111’與固定塊200相互配合將一對端子20’和遮罩所述一對端子20’的遮罩片30’固定於所述底壁11’。本發明的又一實施列中(未圖示),所述端子對22’一體成型固定於所述固定塊200後再通過固定塊200安裝在所述底壁上,所述遮罩片30’安裝在所述底壁11’。
參考第十八圖和第十九圖,為本發的明第二電連接器2’的另一實施例,與第一實施例相比,本實施例中,所述信號端子70’和所述接地端子80’均一體成型與所述絕緣本體60’。所述接地端子80’的所述寬邊設置在不同的平面中,具體地,同一個所述端子模組50內的位於所述信號端子對710’列向方向兩側的所述接地端子80’的所述過渡部85’和所述信號端子70’的所述中間部75’之間為窄邊耦合,所述信號端子70’的所述安裝端74’和所述接地端子80’的所述接地安裝端84’之間為窄邊耦合。所述信號端子對710’的對接端73’與所述接地端子80’的所述接地配合端83’之間為窄邊對寬邊耦合。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種電連接器,其可與對接連接器相互配合,所述電連接器包括絕緣殼體及固持在絕緣殼體中的若干端子,所述端子包括固持在絕緣殼體中的固持部、自固持部向前延伸的懸臂及位於懸臂前部的接觸部,所述懸臂上設有開槽,其中所述開槽延伸到所述接觸部以改善端子對之間的阻抗匹配。
  2. 如請求項 1所述之電連接器,其中所述開槽的周邊是完全被包含在所述端子內。
  3. 如請求項 2所述之電連接器,其中兩相鄰所述端子形成端子對,用於傳輸一對差分信號,形成所述端子對的兩個端子窄邊對窄邊耦合。
  4. 如請求項 3所述之電連接器,其中所述端子包括相對的寬邊及窄邊,所述固持部兩側窄邊設有向外凸伸出的倒刺,所述寬邊設有從寬邊凸出的寬倒刺。
  5. 如請求項 4所述之電連接器,其中所述端子直接安裝在所述絕緣殼體上。
  6. 如請求項 5所述之電連接器,其中所述端子進一步包括可安裝在電路板上的安裝部,所述安裝部包括具有魚眼結構的安裝腳。
  7. 如請求項 6所述之電連接器,其中進一步包括遮罩相鄰的所述端子對的遮罩件。
  8. 如請求項 3所述之電連接器,其中進一步包括固定塊,所述端子對一體成型於所述固定塊。
  9. 如請求項 7所述之電連接器,其中進一步包括固定塊,所述端子對和所述遮罩件均一體成型於所述固定塊。
  10. 如請求項9所述之電連接器,其中所述固定塊外表面塗覆有吸波材料。
