Abstract

An elevator system having function of determination for carrying passengers is disclosed. The elevator system includes an elevator car, a weight sensing module, a first photography module, a monitoring server and a control module. The weight sensing module is connected to the elevator car and configured to detect a loading weight value. The first photography module takes photo(s) for an elevator waiting area of a floor for generating image(s) of the floor. The monitoring server is electrically connected to the first photography module and configured to determine information of passengers in the elevator waiting area according to the image(s) of the floor for generating a determination value. The control module is electrically connected to the weight sensing module, the elevator car and the monitoring server. A first threshold value is stored in the control module. The control module determines whether to control the elevator car to stop on the floor according to the loading weight value, the first threshold value and the determination value. Therefore, the time of passengers and the energy of operation of the elevator system can be saved.
