Description

Rubber composition and method for producing rubber composite layer using the same

The present invention relates to a rubber composition and its use, and in particular to a rubber composition and a method of producing a rubber layer using the same.

Nowadays, the application of thinned rubber products is more and more extensive, such as the main material of fire resistant protective clothing, industrial raincoat and medical bed cover. However, a thicker and heavier rubber material is still used on the inflatable enamel product, so that the weight of the finished product causes a load on the ship. In the existing rubber industry, since the rubber cannot be processed at an excessively high temperature, it is technically difficult to press the rubber to 0.1 cm. Moreover, the rubber leather used as an inflatable enamel product is highly demanding for airtightness, adhesion, mechanical strength, oil resistance, water resistance, ultraviolet resistance, and cold resistance, and is intended to be suitable for use in a harsh environment.

In addition, in the processing of the rubber material of the inflatable concrete, one of the steps is to apply the adhesive to the opposite surfaces of the rubber leather, and then roll the rubber material to adhere the two opposite surfaces of the coating adhesive to each other. It is required to have a strength of at least 75 N/5 cm or more when bonding. In the future, when the inflatable raft is inflated with high pressure, the danger of inflation and smashing of the joints can be avoided as much as possible. Therefore, how to develop a thinned rubber leather material that is light in weight and meets the above requirements, for use in an inflatable product, or further applied to other fields, is a goal that the industry is currently pursuing.

In view of the above, an embodiment of the present invention provides a rubber composition, including: 40 to 60 parts by weight of natural gum; 20 to 40 parts by weight of chloroprene rubber; 20 to 40 parts by weight of ethylene propylene rubber; 100 to 200 parts by weight of inorganic filler; 5 to 20 parts by weight An organic filler; and 2 to 5 parts by weight of a vulcanizing agent.

A further object of the embodiments of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a double-sided rubber composite layer, comprising: providing a base fabric having opposite upper and lower surfaces; impregnating the base fabric with an adhesive; respectively coating a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer on the upper surface and the lower surface; providing the rubber composition described above; kneading the rubber composition, and thoroughly mixing the rubber composition at a temperature of 50 to 95 ° C; a calendering process, calendering the rubber composition to a thickness of 0.07 to 0.1 cm at a temperature of 60 to 95 ° C to form a first rubber layer, and bonding the first rubber layer to the first adhesive layer; repeating the calendering process, The rubber composition is calendered to form a second rubber layer, and the second rubber layer is bonded to the second adhesive layer; and a vulcanization treatment is performed to cure the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer.

In order to be applied to the main material of the inflatable crucible, after the step of forming the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer respectively on the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer, further comprising coating a fabric on the first rubber layer And the second rubber layer is configured to cause embossing on the surfaces of the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer.

The double-sided rubber composite layer provided by the invention has a weight of only 400g per square meter, and is lighter in weight, thinner in thickness, and still has high airtightness and highness compared with the conventional inflatable rubber rubber material. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 is a flow chart showing the production of a rubber layer in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

2 is a flow chart of fabricating a double-sided rubber composite layer in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.

Please refer to FIG. 1 , which is a flow chart of manufacturing a rubber layer according to an embodiment of the present invention. The following steps are included: First, step S10 is performed to provide a rubber composition. The rubber composition includes at least 40 to 60 parts by weight (PHR) of natural rubber, 20 to 40 parts by weight of chloroprene rubber, 20 to 40 parts by weight of ethylene propylene rubber, and 100 to 200 parts by weight of an inorganic filler. And 5 to 20 parts by weight of an organic filler; and 2 to 5 parts by weight of a vulcanizing agent.

Wherein, the inorganic filler is selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, clay, calcined earth and a mixture thereof; the organic filler is selected from the group consisting of stearic acid, resin, petrolatum and a mixture thereof. One. The vulcanizing agent is selected from the group consisting of sulfur, an organic accelerator, and zinc oxide. The organic or inorganic filler can increase the hardness, tensile strength, abrasion resistance and tear resistance of the rubber product, and the vulcanizing agent is used to cause the curing reaction when the rubber composition is at a high temperature.

In addition to the above composition, other kinds of additives such as antioxidants, colorants and the like may be added as the case may be.

Next, in step S11, the above rubber composition is kneaded, and the rubber composition is thoroughly mixed at a first predetermined temperature. In the embodiment of the present invention, the rubber composition of the rubber composition is kneaded by a kneader, for example, a 10,000-horse mixer, and is subjected to two rollers (including a coarse wheel and a fine) in an environment of 50 to 95 ° C. Round) fully mixed.

In step S12, the rubber composition is calendered to a set thickness at a second predetermined temperature to form a rubber layer. In the embodiment of the present invention, the rubber composition is fed into the calendering laminating machine as a conveyor belt. If the temperature of the delay is too high, it will The rubber generates a vulcanization reaction to produce a thermosetting elastomer, which makes the rubber hard and can no longer be processed and pressed to a predetermined thickness. If the press delay temperature is too low, the rubber is too tough and cannot be calendered to the specified thickness. In the embodiment of the present invention, the second predetermined temperature of the press delay is controlled at 60 to 95 ° C, and the rubber lamination can be extended to 0.07 cm to 0.1 cm.

Referring to FIG. 2, a method for manufacturing a double-sided rubber composite layer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps: In step S20, a base fabric is provided, the base fabric having opposite upper and lower surfaces. The base fabric of the present embodiment is a nylon base fabric or a polyester fiber cloth, and is a high-strength and lightweight type strong yarn to reduce the weight of the finished product. However, it is not limited to these two materials, but other types can be selected depending on the field of application.

Next, in step S21, the base fabric is impregnated in an adhesive. In this embodiment, the adhesive has a viscosity of about 5 to 50 cps, and an adhesive such as, but not limited to, a neoprene paste, a natural paste, a chlorosulfonated rubber paste, or the like.

300cps。 In step S22, a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer are respectively coated on the upper surface and the lower surface of the base fabric. In this embodiment, the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer material are, for example, but not limited to, a neoprene paste, a natural paste, a chlorosulfonated rubber paste, and the like. If the double-sided rubber composite layer is to be used in the production of an inflatable raft, the viscosity control of the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer must be precise. In one embodiment, the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer have a higher viscosity than the adhesive of the previous step, about 200 to 300 cps.

In step S23, a first rubber layer and a second rubber layer are formed and coated on the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer, respectively. In the embodiment of the present invention, when the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer are formed, the manufacturing method of the embodiment of FIG. 1 is adopted, including providing the rubber composition, and then kneading the rubber composition at 50 to 95. The rubber composition is thoroughly mixed at a temperature of ° C; a calendering process is applied, and the rubber composition is calendered to a thickness of 0.07 to 0.1 cm at a temperature of 60 to 95 ° C to form the first rubber layer, and then the first The rubber layer is attached to the first adhesive layer.

Next, the above-described calendering process is repeated, the rubber composition is calendered to form a second rubber layer, and the second rubber layer is bonded to the second subsequent layer by a calendering laminator.

In step S24, a fabric is coated on the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer. In the embodiment of the present invention, the fabric is, for example, one of a nylon-based cloth, a polyester fiber cloth, a cotton cloth, a glass fiber, a polyester-nylon fiber-blended gauze, and other blended gauze of different constituent fibers.

In another embodiment, the double-sided rubber composite layer will be used to make an inflatable crucible, so that the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer surface will be coated with an adhesive to adhere to each other, and the bonding strength needs to be at least 75 N/5 cm. Coating the fabric on the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer causes embossing on the surfaces of the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer to form a concave-convex surface and increase the surface area of the rubber layer. In other words, the contact area of the surface of the rubber layer with the adhesive is also increased, and the bonding strength between the rubber layers is increased.

In step S25, a vulcanization treatment is performed to cure the first rubber layer and the second rubber layer. In the embodiment of the present invention, the vulcanization treatment is carried out at a temperature of 130 to 160 °C.

In step S26, the fabric is removed. After the vulcanization treatment, the fabric for producing the texture is removed, and at this time, the surfaces of the first and second rubber layers have a texture to form a three-layer double-sided rubber composite layer.

The invention provides a method for manufacturing a double-sided rubber composite layer, which comprises a high-strength and light-weight strong yarn as a base fabric, and an ultra-thin rubber layer is attached on both sides thereof, so that the weight of the finished product is only 400 g per square meter, and the mechanical strength is high. It is oil-resistant, water-resistant, UV-resistant and cold-resistant up to -40 ° C. It is suitable for use in harsh environments and can be used to make inflatable rafts, inflatable products or further applications in other fields. In addition, an imprinting pattern can be selectively provided on the surface of the rubber layer, and when the inflatable crucible is formed, the contact area between the adhesive and the surface of the rubber layer is increased, the bonding strength is improved, and the airtightness and high adhesion are avoided, thereby avoiding inflation. When inflated, the seams are exploding.

The above is only an embodiment of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention. It is still within the scope of patent protection of the present invention to make any substitutions and modifications of the modifications made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
