Abstract

A touch panel includes a backlight module, an array substrate and a sensing unit. The array substrate further includes a gate driver, a plurality of gate lines, data lines, first readout lines and first photosensitive units. The gate lines and data lines are configured to define a pixel array, and a dummy gate line included in the gate lines is not coupled to the gate driver but other gate lines are coupled to the gate driver. The first photosensitive units are coupled to the dummy gate line, and each first photosensitive unit outputs a first photo current through one first readout line. The sensing unit is coupled to the first readout line and the backlight module to adjust the brightness of backlight module according to the first photo current.
