Abstract

An actuating device for use in vehicle of handlebar braking includes an actuating unit and a protection unit electrically connected to the actuating unit. The protection unit includes a detector for detecting the engine rotational speed of the vehicle, an electric control unit electrically connected to the detector and a battery, and a controller connected to the electric control unit, wherein the electric control unit controls the controller moving between a conduction position and a non-conduction position by a rotational speed signal generated corresponding to the engine rotational speed. The actuating unit is prevented from being operated again to result in flameout or damaging the engine after starting the engine. The service life of the engine can be enhanced accordingly.
