沃斯田不銹鋼在製造後經常具有光滑金屬表面而無結 構,因此經常難以濕潤。此濕潤特性對油漆及塗料之黏附 性及耐久性有大影響,即於此表面上塗佈耐久性塗料爲困 難的。 在醫學技術中使用生物相容材料(例如鈦)以由其製 造植入物。此植入物之太光滑表面亦造成難以解決之問題 。其爲例如植入物與將植入物植入之人體組織間之不良接

因此本發明之目的爲揭示一種用於增加包括至少一種 金屬 Fe、Cu、Co、Cr、Ti、Ta、Mo、Mn、與 Si 的金屬合 金之金屬體的表面孔隙之方法。 此目的係經由一種用於修改金屬體之表面結構,更佳 爲用於增加表面孔隙的方法而解決,其特徵爲金屬體係一 種包括至少一種金屬Fe、Cu、Co、Cr、Ti、Ta、Μο、Μη 、與Si作爲主成分或添加物的金屬合金,及其中在第一方 法階段中於金屬體表面製造一表面層,其含至少一種非金 屬物質,更佳爲C、0、N、S、或P,繼而在第二方法階段 中’自表面層至少部份地去除含於表面層之非金屬物質至 少之一。 本發明之特徵爲方法之二階段本性。在第一方法階段 中’其於具有至少一種非金屬元素或含一種非金屬元素之 化合物的金屬體上製造表面層。在第一方法階段中,其較 佳爲將碳、氧、氮、硫、或磷裝設於表面層作爲非金屬元 素。製造此表面層未必發生於單一步驟,而是亦可以數個 200844261 步驟進行。 然後在第二方法階段中可自表面層再度部份地或完全 地去除非金屬元素或含這些非金屬元素之化合物。以此方 式’空隙殘留於表面層使表面具孔隙。自表面層去除非金 屬元素之此第二方法階段亦可在單一或數個步驟發生。 依照本發明之一個較佳具體實施例,其在上述第二方 法階段後無需最終表面處理。特別地,表面層未接受蝕刻 程序或類似程序。
在第一方法階段及/或第二方法階段之一個較佳具體 實施例中包括數個方法步驟,其中在各方法步驟中,其將 至少一種非金屬物質沉積於表面層及/或自表面層去除。金 屬體可例如起初在處理大氣中修改,使得將非金屬元素裝 設於該體表面,例如將金屬表面以含氧大氣經控制反應氧 化。然後使金屬體再度接受相同之處理,以在金屬體之表 面結構中發生額外之非金屬元素裝設,即在所述實例中, 金屬表面暴露於一個額外之氧化反應。 其亦適用於第二方法階段:自表面層去除非金屬成分 可同樣地以數個步驟發生。將非金屬成分之裝設或去除的 兩個方法階段分成數個步驟更佳爲在自此表面裝設或去除 較大量這些非金屬物質時實行,但是延長或更深入之金屬 體處理對金屬性質具有不利之影響。經由上述將一個方法 階段分成連續地實行之數個步驟,其達成較仔細之金屬體 處理。 如果欲將多種不同物質裝設或自金屬體表面結構去除 200844261 ,則將一個方法階段分成數個步驟亦有利。關於此點,反 應條件係在第一步驟最適化使得較佳爲特定非金屬物質與 金屬體表面反應。在第二步驟中修改反應條件,使得將另 一種物質整合至表面層中。然後可爲用於控制修改表面之 額外步驟。當然其不僅適用於將非金屬元素裝設於表面, 亦可適用於在第二方法階段將其去除。
其較佳爲重複地進行依照本發明之二階段程序,即第 一及第二方法階段之次序。其表示起初經由沉積及至少部 份地再度去除所述物質而製造孔隙表面層。以此方式前處 理之金屬體表面然後較佳爲在改變之方法條件下再一次接 受依照本發明之方法。結果可製造具大小不同之孔的表面 。例如經由適當之方法參數選擇可製造內表面爲精細結構 之粗結構化表面。具粗及細孔隙之此表面例如有利地用於 製造熱交換器表面或催化轉化器表面。 非金屬元素或含其之化合物的沉積及/或自表面層去 除較佳爲經金屬體在熱處理大氣中之處理進行。藉由適當 地選擇熱處理大氣之組成物及對應之方法參數(如壓力與 溫度)選擇,以此方式可以控制方式發生熱處理大氣與金 屬體表面間之反應,而且製造界定之表面層。 【實施方式】 依照一個較佳具體實施例,其起初將金屬表面氧化繼 而還原。在氧化步驟期間,其以已知方式於金屬表面上形 成氧化層。在第二步驟中,其將經氧化金屬表面暴露於還 原大氣·。在此處理期間,其經還原去除至少一部份之存在 200844261 氧化物,其中對應孔殘留在表面。 藉由進行金屬表面之氧化繼而還原,其製造可易於濕 潤之孔隙表面結構。 所製造表面孔隙之型式及形狀係依第一方法階段期間 及第二方法階段期間之方法參數而定。爲了得到最適合設 定要求之孔結構,其在兩個方法階段均須適當地選擇參數 ,更佳爲溫度及時間。
這些參數係依表面欲經修改之金屬或合金的型式、依 欲裝設或自此表面層去除之物質、依所使用氧化及/或還原 劑之型式、及依所需孔結構(例如其大小)而定。如果依 照本發明經金屬之體熱處理修改表面係在氣體大氣中實行 ,則大氣之溫度及各暴露時間因此如金屬或合金之型式的 函數、如所使用氧化及還原劑之型式的函數及/或如所需孔 結構之函數,對欲處理表面調整。 其已證明在鋼處理期間,第一方法階段較佳爲在800 °C至1 3 00°C,特佳爲1 000°C至1 200°C之溫度進行。對於 熱處理之時間較佳爲選擇10至200分鐘,較佳爲30至120 分鐘之時間長度。對於鈦、Cr-Co或其他材料,所述參數 可作爲最先參考點,但是通常實行進一步最適化。 第二方法階段(例如還原步驟)較佳爲在900°C至1400 °C之溫度進行5分鐘至120分鐘之時間,更佳爲60至120 分鐘之時間。 爲了在第一方法階段製造氧化層,其將表面有利地暴 露於氧成分爲1至1 〇 〇 %之大氣。其較佳爲使用空氣作爲氧 200844261 化劑。然而依欲氧化之金屬及所需孔結構之形狀而定,藉 富氧空氣或技術上純氧作爲氧化劑進行氧化亦爲有利的。 其較佳爲在此使用具有至少50%之氧含量,特佳爲至少90% 之氧的大氣。如果適用,則在此情形必須適當地調整氧化 處理之溫度。其亦已顯示其他氧化劑(例如水氣、蒸氣、 二氧化碳、或氮與氧之混合物)適合發生依照本發明之氧 化。 在本發明之一個具體實施例中,表面之氧化可同樣地 #) 在其他熱處理或轉變步驟期間如副作用而發生或製造。例 如在熱軋期間已將金屬表面氧化,使得不必實行另外之分 別氧化。 氧化層之還原較佳爲在氫大氣中進行。在此已證實使 用具至少75%之氫含量,較佳爲至少90%,特佳爲至少98% 之氫的還原大氣。除了氫或另外亦可將含CO大氣用於還 原0
其已證明依照本發明以相當高之碳含量處理Co-Cr合 金,則在第二方法階段中利用存在於合金中之一部份碳原 子還原非金屬物質。碳作爲還原劑之觀察特性可爲例如將 碳加入用於第二方法階段之氫或CO大氣而慎重地使用。 在本發明之一個較佳具體實施例中,氧化係在空氣中 進行,而且後續還原係在純氫大氣中進行。 依照本發明之方法之目的爲製造孔隙金屬表面。關於 此點,其起初在第一方法階段(例如氧化步驟)期間將非 金屬沉積於金屬體表面,及在第二方法階段期間(例如在 200844261 還原步驟期間)再度去除使得殘留所需孔隙。這兩個方法 階段係有利地緊接進行。更佳爲如果表面在兩個方法階段 之間,更佳爲在氧化與還原步驟之間,未暴露於任何其他 熱處理程序則有利。 此方法依照本發明係有利地用於處理沃斯田不銹鋼體 、Co-Cr合金、鎳合金、鈦、鉬、或含這些物質之合金的 表面。在此,整體或僅欲處理體之表面連續地暴露於兩個 方法階段,即例如起初氧化繼而還原大氣。
本發明較佳爲用於修改醫用或藥用目的裝置之表面結 構。其依照本發明修改例如醫用植入物,例如植牙、支架 、外科用具、導管、義肢或人造關節、或製造此植入物與 假體之材料。 表面孔隙改良植入物與人體或動物組織或骨頭間之接 觸。另一方面,植入物或義肢及外科用具經常具有塗層, 例如羥基磷灰石塗層。經由使用依照本發明之方法明確地 達成此層之改良黏附性。 更佳爲在醫學技術及手術之領域,及其他技術領域, 依照本發明形成之孔隙可用於將活性物質、同位素、對抗 癌症之放射性物質、或醫藥品沉積於該孔隙中,如此被散 佈至環境或引入周圍組織。 依照本發明方法之另一個較佳應用領域爲處理金屬表 面以改良其在後續塗刷或塗覆之黏附特性。 本發明之另外應用領域爲修改熱交換器之表面結構以 改良沿熱交換器表面之熱轉移及流動條件。依照本發明之 -11- 200844261 經修改表面對催化轉化器及電池組亦有優點。 其亦已證明經本發明可以控制方式影響表面之光學性 質(例如吸收力)。其中一個可能之應用領域爲太陽能收 集器。 目前需要界定結構或孔隙之表面經常經粉末塗覆或粉 末燒結而製造。本發明組成替代這些相當昂貴方法之節省 成本可能性。
