Abstract

The present invention provides a single-stage AC/DC converter, which comprises an input current shaping circuit and a soft switching flyback DC/DC converter, and the coupled-winding technology is applied to provide the function of input current shaping and the direct transmission of part of the input energy. Compared to the conventional single-stage AC/DC converter design, the boosting inductor of the present invention magnetizes when the main switch cuts off to prevent the voltage ripple of DC-link capacitor from affecting the input current distortion. At the same time, by designing the series connection of the boosting inductor and the coupled winding, the voltage drop in the boosting inductor is reduced. The resonant inductor provides part of the voltage-boosting function, thereby greatly reducing the volume and weight of the magnetic elements required.
