Abstract
This invention provides a method for making an Indium oxide powder, the method comprising the steps of processing a molten metal Indium into a granular metal Indium having a size which enables easy resolving of the metal Indium in an acid by dripping molten metal Indium in the water of 70 DEG C or lower, obtaining an Indium salt solution by resolving the granular metal Indium in an acid such as nitric acid, producing an Indium hydroxide by neutralizing the Indium salt solution with an alkali aqueous solution, and obtaining an Indium oxide powder by burning the Indium hydroxide.
