Abstract

The present invention provides a battery cover assembly for an electronic device including a cover, a main body and a locking assembly. The main body has a receiving portion for receiving battery defined therein. The locking assembly includes a pushbutton and a restoring element. The pushbutton is slidably mounted on the main body. The restoring element provides a restoring force for the pushbutton. The battery cover assembly further includes a releasing assembly, which includes a guiding rail. The guiding rail connects the cover and the main body with each other. The cover can slide in relative with the main body along the guiding rail to open or close the receiving portion for the battery.
