Abstract

Disclosed is a spandex fiber having high power retention. A polyurethane elastic yarn polymer is produced by reacting organic diisocyanate with copolymer diol to prepare a prepolymer, dissolving the prepolymer in an organic solvent, and reacting the resulting solution with diamine and/or monoamine. Copolymer diol constituting a soft portion of the polyurethane polymer is a polymer containing two or more selected from the group consisting of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, caprolactone, and tetramethylene oxide as constituent components.
