A switch slave unit 10 is a mechanical switch, having a push button switch 11 of an always open type which connects electrically during an switching operation of a bifurcating cable, bifurcated from a main current cable of the load controlling circuit, and a switch main unit 20 is an electronic switch, in which the conducting status of a bifurcating cable is detected and according to the detected conducting status of the bifurcated cable, a determination is made as to whether the switching operation of the switch slave unit 10 is conducted, and power supply to a load 2 is controlled, based on the determination result.
