Abstract

A device for the insulation displacement of the strand inside the shielded network jack and a method for the same are provided. The steps of the method include providing a connector base, providing a connector mounted inside the connector base, providing a strand clip mounted on the connector base for receiving a strand therein, and providing a spinning element mounted on the connector base for performing a spinning motion, wherein the spinning element moves along its axial direction inside the connector base. The spinning motion makes the connector do the insulation displacement when the strand is between the strand clip and the connector, so as to electrically connect the strand and the connector.
