Abstract

A liquid crystal lens system includes a liquid crystal display panel comprising a plurality of pixels. The pixels constitute stripes pattern of the diffraction lens and the liquid crystal display panel becomes a diffraction lens. The stripes pattern can be changed by a processor and a driving circuit so that the liquid crystal display panel becomes a diffraction lens whose focus can be changed. A method for making liquid crystal lens is also provided.
