Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to provide a ferrous oxide composition that prevent a bivalence ferrous ion from dissolving in water and precipitates and changes into ferric hydroxide and a plant growth accelerant containing of the same. The ferrous oxide containing composition of this invention contains ferrous oxide and composite oxide. The composite oxide contains at least one of the element of Ca, Al or Ag and is preferably one of CaAlO2, FeAl2O4, MgAl2O4, CaFeSi2O6, MgFeSi2O6, CaSi2O5, MgSi2O5, CaFe2O5, Mg Fe2O4, CaFeO2, Mg FeO2. In addition, the plant growth accelerant contains ferrous composition of this invention and a chelate chemical compound ﹙mortify plant earth and cattle manure﹚.
