Abstract
The present invention provides a two-phase closed-loop thermosyphon cooling device. In the device, a fluid is evaporated into steam after adsorbing thermal energy from heat source while the fluid flowing through an evaporator. Thereafter, the steam flow into a condenser through a vapor pipe and then be cooled down to the liquid phase. This cooled fluid is guided back to the evaporator by a liquid transportation pipe to achieve a complete cooling cycle. The cooling device of the invention is characterized in its pressure balance pipe, which is being used to connect the vapor pipe and the liquid pipe. Besides, the joint of the pressure balance pipe and the evaporation pipe is at a position higher than the joint of the pressure balance pipe and the condensation pipe, so that the pressure balance pipe is capable of balancing the pressure difference between the evaporation pipe and the condensation pipe for preventing the reflux of the gas and fluid while the cooling device is operating. Not only can the cooling cycle be maintained, but also the efficiency of cooling device can be improved.
