Abstract
A fluid pump comprises a housing, at least one active gear wheel, a driving member, a first magnetically conductive member, and a second magnetically conductive member. The housing has a lid to cover an inner space in which to receive the active gear wheel for propelling a fluid therein. The active gear wheel mounts the first magnetically conductive member thereon. The driving member is positioned on an outer surface of the lid of the housing and mounts the second magnetically conductive member which is corresponding to the first magnetically conductive member. At least one of the first and second magnetically conductive members is made of a magnet member to provide a magnetic force for attracting the other member. Thus, in operation, the driving member drives the second magnetically conductive member for rotation such that the first magnetically conductive member mounted on the active gear wheel can be indirectly driven to rotate in the inner space of the housing for propelling the fluid.
