Abstract
The present invention provides a hoist for load lifting, including a load attachment structure (10) that can be lifted and lowered by a linear drive device (13, 14). A fluid operated cylinder device (16,17) applies a force upwardly upon the load attachment structure (10), wherein the fluid pressure of the fluid operated cylinder device (16, 17) can be adjusted in a way that a part of the load force, acting downwards resulted from respective load, can be compensated. In this way, a fluid pressure of the fluid operated cylinder device, which is dependent of the respective load force, is determined in advance, so that a lifting force by the linear drive device (13, 14) can be quickly and simply adjusted to a permanent constant optimal value.
