Abstract

A voltage supply circuit, by which a capacitor of a time constant circuit can be charged rapidly when a voltage supply is started and a bias amount should be supplied to a transistor is easy adjusted, is provided. The voltage supply circuit is composed of a time constant circuit (6) including a serial circuit of a resistor (R0) and a capacitor (C0), and a series regulator type voltage generation circuit (7a) provided on the input side of the time constant circuit (6). In the voltage generation circuit (7a), a first transistor (Q1) connected between the input terminal (IN) of the voltage supply circuit and the time constant circuit (6), a second transistor (Q2) performing a current mirror operation with the first transistor (Q1), a third transistor (Q3) with its main current path connected with the resistor (R0) of the time constant circuit (6) in parallel, and a bias circuit for supplying a bias to the third transistor (Q3) according to a current supplied from the second transistor (Q2) are provided. Specifically, the bias circuit is a resistor (R3). Preferably, a diode (Q5) is further connected with the resistor (R0) of the time constant circuit (6) in parallel.
