Abstract
Modification of a negative electrode material, which is used as the carbon material of negative electrode of the lithium-ion secondary battery, is revealed in the invention. The disclosed modification is characterized in that surface of the carbon material is plated with nano-particles of phosphorous tin or phosphorous tin nickel. The preparation method relates to the followings: mixing a phosphorous ion containing reducing agent solution and tin ion or tin/nickel ion containing oxidizing agent solution to form a plating liquid; then placing the carbon material into the plating liquid, heating the environment to the temperature of 80 ~ 85 DEG C for two hours under the pH range of 3 ~ 5 to perform the non-electroplating reaction; cooling the carbon material down to the room temperature and using DI water to clean up the carbon material; finally, drying the carbon material to obtain the carbon material plated on the surface the nano-particles of phosphorous tin or phosphorous tin nickel.
