Abstract
Disclosed are a phosphor particle, a phosphor paste and a light-emitting device. The phosphor particle contains a fluorescent substance containing a compound represented by the formula (1) below and at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Mn as an activating agent, and a silicon compound on the fluorescent substance. 3M<SUP>1</SUP>OmM<SUP>2</SUP>OM<SUP>3</SUP>O<SUB>2</SUB> (1) (In the formula (1), M<SUP>1</SUP> represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba; M2 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg and Zn; M3 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Si and Ge; and 0.9 ≤ m ≤ 1.1 and 1.8 ≤ n ≤ 2.2.)
