Abstract
To provide a flex-ographic printer and a method for flex-ographic printing which do not select kinds of films and can print in a maximum number of colors of the device without using a turning bar even in the printing only on one face of a film. The flex-ographic printer has a rotary drum conveying an elongated film by winding the same around the surface of the rotary drum, a first conveying path conveying the film so as to wind one face of the film around the surface of the rotary drum 31 of a first printing section 3 or the rotary drum 41 of the second printing section 4 and thereafter wind the other face of the film around the surface of the rotary drum 41 of the second printing section 4 or the rotary drum 31 of the first printing section 3, and a second conveying path conveying the film so as to wind one face of the film around each of the surfaces of the rotary drum 31 of the first printing section 3 and the rotary drum 41 of the second printing section 4 in this order, and the rotary drum of either one of the printing section of the first printing section 3 and the second printing section 4 is forwardly and backwardly rotatably arranged.
