Abstract

To provide a washer drier which can almost consistently prevent air supplied to the inside of a water tank at the time of drying operation from flowing into space between the water tank and a rotation drum. A duct cover 61 is attached to the front of the back end section of the water tank 3. The duct cover 61 extends to the communication port 63 of the perimeter section of a rotating shaft 8 from the peripheral section of a hot air inlet 40, and a ventilation path 64, which extends toward the communication port 63 from the hot air inlet 40, is formed between the back end section of the water tank 3 and the duct cover 61. Two or more introduction paths 66 located in the perimeter section of the rotating shaft 8 are formed in the base section 13 of a reinforcing member 12 attached to the back end section of the rotation drum 4. A sealing member 68 is attached to the back end section circumference of the base section 13. The sealing member 68 stands up and touches the peripheral section of the communication port 63 within the duct cover 61 at the time of a drying process, and is separated from the duct cover 61 at the time of a dehydration process.
